He's a Lamb in person, but don't piss him off. Last couple of sessions
we played even, but I can eat more than him at Toucan Charlie's Buffet.
Hopefully, we will both play well. I'll post a pic or two (and details) after
the smoke clears. We usually play on Table #8 up front so the railbirds
can sweat the action. Warren "The Monk" Costanza should also be there
taking money from unsuspecting victims. He still plays pretty sporty.

We'll be cheering for KK9 to take home all the "marbles".

Update. Black-Balled claims he got hit with some hail while pedalling his tricycle down Interstate 95.

He should arrive in Greensboro soon. I know the line favors him, but this is my home court and he's gonna have to bring it to win my whole $50.

Pinklady took several pics. I sure she will post em as soon as she wakes up! BB was a class act and the guy can play! He quickly took care of the guy in the room that barks all the time about his ability. He was pretty humbled by BB's game. It was great to meet you BB. Stop in and see us again.

for yáll who don't know, Jimmy's referring to a League teammate. he's good. but he can get a little uppity at times. (he's not on AZB so i can post this) he & i got along fine - till last night when he got ass-y w/ me about Earl's table (which has a dip in it, therefore he rung the pocket, and i reminded him of the spot @ 11:00 that's bad).... so i threw him onto Black-Balled's table. where he promptly got his ass whipped w/ double & triple kicks/banks.

That has to be Steven. lol, "uppity" may be understating it a tad.
 
One thing Black Balled can be sure of is hospitality. Pinky, KK9 and the entire Greensboro pool crowd treat their cue-sports visitors like royalty.

I'm sure it will be a great matchup between two quality guys.
 
recap of last night & this morning (long)

the tricycle man got in a little later than expected. we rolled into Breakers approx 8pm, ten 9-footers, one patron passed out @ the bar, and our friendly barkeep Tom. our own private Idaho.

we played 2 sets of 10ball.... in short order, there were 7 AZBers present, along with my League teammates & others. TIMKRAZYMON, MAJIC, DIOGENES, DOODYSQUAT & us. the hall was quickly abuzz, as Mike Tyson took on Babe Ruth. ;)

it was a blast! we played 10ball, call shot, no option for the incoming player on a missed call. friendly $20 sets. B-B dispatched me quite handily on the 1st set. 2nd set i was on the hill, up 3 games. instead of putting my foot on his throat, i went to the bar for a shot, feeling: "i can't wait to post on AZ that i beat the infamous Black-Balled!"

i don't know if i ever saw another full ball.... i felt like a mule as i was kicking at everything.

the next thing you know, it was heart-to-heart talk in our kitchen, talking about all of yáll till 3am. :cool:

in closing, it was our privilege to have Black-Balled and other fellow AZers come together. (thank you for making the bed :grin-square:) how was that 100mile bike ride through the Blue Ridge mountains on 4hrs sleep? cause i need an IV right now & League is in 30minutes. :thud:
 
Sounds like you all had a great time...except The Loudmouth"...F'em if he can't take a joke. He's not an AZ'er anyhow.

When is BB suppose to be home? I worry about my friends on motorcycles these days, but bikes are even harder for some idiots to see on the roads. Johnnyt
