I've been in Q repair for 28 yrs & Qmaking for 26 yrs. I've sold Qs in 36 states & 7 foreign countries. Not every part of my Qs are made by me. Not every part of my Qs are made in the USA. I'm proud of the BLACK HEART NAME & the quality of my product. A poster here has offered to sell a layered tip for a very resonable price. I ordered a few & put them on my own playing Qs. I LOVED the soft & the medium tips. I ordered more. I have not tryed the hard, as I don't like a hard tip. I've installed about 6 of these tips on Qs of customers shafts with the same result. They love them. I have ordered more & will continue to have satisfied customers. I RECOMMEND THESE TIPS, BECAUSE THEY ARE ONE OF THE BEST PLAYING TIPS
I HAVE EVER PLAYED WITH. If they fail in the future, I will say so, right here on AZ. THANK YOU TOM FOR A VERY GOOD PRODUCT...JER
 
I absolutely love the feel of the ultraskin tips when they make contact with the ball. Bought the mediums and will be buying more.

I too do repairs in my area and feel that the ultra skin medium is a very good choice
of tip to put on your cue

At one point, I felt that it was important to carry many of the popular tips for my customers. So I did, and spent a bit of money doing it.

Then, I got turned on to Ultra Skins. Thats all I recommend to people and haven't had a complaint.

If I install a Ultra Skin. I tell them to try it and if they don't like it, they get their original choice or any other tip installed free of charge.

No one has taken me up on the offer as of yet and I don't expect any will.

Haven't installed a Moori, Everest or Talisman for a long time now.

At least my tip drawer looks pretty with all them nice boxes.

I have two shafts for the Mighty Lucasi. One has had an Ultra
skin on it for a while. Its my back up shaft. The one i play with primarily I had a Sniper put on just to try something new.
the sniper played well for awhile until last Saturday. I miscued 6 times in about an hour.I scuffed it and chalked real good and the miscues would not stop. So i did what any sane person would do I whipped out my knife and beheaded the tip and left it on the cold hardwood floor at "Felt". I then played another 5 hours with the shaft that had the Ultraskin on it and no more miscues.
I guess me and the Sniper just couldn't get along.
 
I bought some of the ultraskin tips based on the early reports just to have on hand. I have not tried them myself. I am wondering how are they in their ability to hold chalk after 3-4 weeks? The real Moori's I use on my own cues are superb with holding chalk and require close to zero maintenance once the initial mushrooming has taken place.

I have turned almost all the locals to Ultra Skins.... I too offer a free replacement if they don't think it's as good as I tell them....never had a taker..... I had one guy that insisted on a Kamui tip.... after he tried it he said "it wasn't what I thought it was going to be".....

I hear repair men brag that they carry 40 different tips.... WHY?????.....Ultra Skin is really the only tip I sell...........

Tom is a great guy to work with ...........
