That reporter was mesmerizing!

My buddy Jr waltzed right into the arena today. (He's filipino so he probably looked like an alternate) He said it was amazing! All the pros were there.

Face it. EVERYONE is going to be watching tomorrow.
 
Slower Players

I watched my first BB match tonight. It was a preview featuring Johnny Archer vs Jason Klatt. I have played Jason in the past. He takes his time and shoots slower than a lot of players. His game is more deliberate and he really takes his time on shots.

This affects opponents that are much quicker. In Bonus Ball I think the players that pull the trigger quicker and are used to a quicker, more, aggressive style, will cause players like Jason a little tougher time in BB. I have played a lot of the players that take their time, And for the more deliberate style of player, BB will cause them a style completely different than they grew up playing.

I still don't know how to play it, for I am a slow learner. Never forgot that short yellow bus ! What I saw I really liked. Looking forward to looking forward !!!

I'm sorry but this is local news. More than pool may normally gets but won't make an ounce of difference. Save the exclamation marks.
 
The problem isn't the professional pool players, but the game they are playing. It is sad to see the pool world step way from something that is great already, and well known, and step into a circus act game that nobody knows. The game wasn't the issue

A lot of people seem to get off explaining how this or that will never work. It's a permanent thing that, of late, has been focused on Bonus Ball. If that makes you happy then so be it, I guess. You'll be even happier if Bonus Ball fails, so you've got that to look forward to. That and yelling at kids to get off your lawn.

In the meantime, I'm looking forward to see many great players playing an interesting game, with the excitement of team play added in, and a shot clock, in what looks like an awesome venue with strong production values. Seriously, scroll through the rosters and, if you don't think you can enjoy watching those players play any game on a pool table, then you may want to switch to a knitting or curling forum.

Nice post. Nice video. Ok I won't lie, I can't wait for it to start. HAHA. I mean you can gamble on this like football (if one wanted to).

If not they should take a page from KT and hire some. Im sure they are encouraging players & staff to get their friends, relatives and unknown strangers into that arena.

It should be like a new pool room-If you dont kill'm opening week, you are probably in big trouble.
 
Cool piece by the news channel. I was super psyched when I saw Mosel come up and say "What you got in there?" then I was crushed when they didn't let Vincent finish with "In here.....Doom."

If you're going to watch tonight a really good intro would be to listen to the May 5th episode of the PoolTime radio show. Dave McColl, of Runout Media, was the guest. He gave the best description of the game and the league that I've heard. One thing he mentioned is something like the first 10 matches will be free streaming.

nope they will all be behind poker machines with their bonus points cards stuffed in the front of them working on building up points for that next buffet , nobody can over come that.

Mosel, LOL that was the stupidest character in the whole movie by a long shot. the guy who played the part was ok, but the hat? really? and the Hawaii 5-0 shirt, i cant stand it
