I feel that I have made several comments that are logical and realistic.

You have also made comments that seem to be logical and realistic.

But I do not get angry when someone doesn't agree with my view. There is the difference between you and I.

One of these days you will come to the realization that this forum is for all to express their views.

Since I do have a life outside of AZ Billiards my posts fail to compare to those who seem to be on here 24/7.

I'm not angry, Don. I just don't like being stalked on a forum by someone I don't know. It's kind of creepy, truth be told.

I'm grateful for AzBilliards giving me an outlet to take a break from my boring job. In fact, I'm working right now as I write this post. Funny how that works, huh? Imagine that. I'm a multi-tasker. ;)

Now go on to your exciting life outside of this forum, and I'll save you this post for your next stalking potshot. You have your self a wonderful day, Don, you hear? :smile:

I am not sure what lies you are speaking of period when it comes to Bonus Ball, the contractor screwed them and jerked them around for months causing delays. When they realized it was not going to start on time because of said delays they paid the players for coming out to show them they are serious about making this happen, basically they paid for the mistakes of the contractor. The delays were simply caused by the contractor period but its easy for people to give misinformation on here and say it is this or that. Larry is doing something good for the players and they appreciate it, if it is positive to them than that is what counts but blaming Larry for delays beyond his control which also has changed the scheduling it just ridiculous.

There were streaming problems which were caused by the the people paid to handle that side of it, they had us on a server that could not handle the large traffic and that is where our numbers came from so they upgraded and then again we had trouble. The fact is they had us set up on something that had no shot of handling what we were doing. Since then the streaming has went well, are there issues, sure there are and they are being handled. Have we made mistakes, of course, people make mistakes all the time but to say it was Larry's fault about being duped by the contractor or the people handling the servers for the site and streaming not being the cause of our problems is just funny to me when they are facts that can be proven. I am not afraid to own up for when I make a mistake at all.

It is funny to me because you have had streaming issues in the past, poor customer service and up until recently what looks to be like very little drive or motivation to produce hard product like DVDs, shirts and other stuff that could make money for you and Mark. It seems it is too much of a pain to take a day once a week in your busy schedule to pack things up and mail them out to customers who would rather have that. Customers in the past have came on here stating its been weeks and have no product and you simply offer a refund or an excuse for not shipping things out. Smart business solution is to shut down your store and lose thousands in profits instead of working harder or figuring out an efficient way to produce and deliver.

The thing is when that all was going on you do not see people jumping on you telling you that you do this and that wrong with your business because it is "your" business but perhaps just offered friendly suggestions. People have asked your PPV numbers in the past and you do not reveal it so I guess you can expect the same answer you give. You can comment all you like Justin but like I said when you are in every Bonus Ball thread or nearly every podcast has Bonus Ball in it, well it just looks like you really have a hard on for it. It is pool politics, you are on one side and I am on another as are many people who are involved, anyone can see it on here and are realizing what is happening. Thanks again for your cherry picking replies and dodging my questions or factual statements. Good day to you.

Use the contractor as a scapegoat all you want, that was the first clue to a lot of us that Larry/the principles don't have a clue WTF they are doing.... You don't take on a venture like that and just put blind faith in a contractor to do so. This deal seems as if it was handled like a cut rate bathroom remodel..... Some people are just mad at their money.

"Arm chair business tycoons"? Let's be real, it's perfectly clear that this operation is 100% "bush league".

They've demonstrated and accomplished nothing more than the ability to spend money and alienate the customer....and let's face it "people" are the ultimate and only customer for a sports/entertainment market. Without people watching, it goes nowhere.

I thought this thread was supposed to be about the right or wrong in the WPBL's decision to run a continuous schedule, and not about their mistake in hiring a good contractor.

So, as long as I'm here again, I might as well offer my opinion on the actual thread subject (just in case someone hasn't already guessed by my previous posts).

The WPBL has done nothing wrong in their scheduling. They started their season as soon as they were able to do so. They made allowances so that their regular players could attend other events, if that's what they choose to do. The Bonus Ball players are making their choices. The Bonus Ball players seem happy with their choices. So where's the problem?

Scapegoat when it is exactly what happened?, sure whatever you want to say. The guy had a license when he started and lost it during construction, he kept stringing things along. It is quite easy to be screwed over by a contractor and happens often in Las Vegas and many other places, these same contractors built the temp set and did other things before the last job so they had earned some trust. If that did not happen then we would have been started months ago and perhaps some scheduling conflicts would have been avoided possibly.

Things happen and nothing is perfect that is for sure but I would not say it was done purposely or with malice to hurt others in the industry. It is a business plain and simple and shutting down your business for others in the same industry is just a ridiculous idea. If Bonus Ball was really trying to hurt others then they would lock the players down not allowing them to play in anything else or on any other live streams but that is not the case. After all of the bs talk here and elsewhere by certain individuals in the industry I would make some changes if it was up to me.
 
Lenny - the lies have been posted here ad nausea. Then they are ignored as if they never happened. This is my issue with BB. If you and your group has found a way to gainfully employee 36 Pro Players and it is the real deal, then just be real about it.

It started with that Barry and his ShamWow of every little thing about BB. That was more annoying than productive in getting interest in the game or the WPBL. Bonus Ball needs a trained, serious PR person or staff. They need to train the people already involved how to act and take the lead in all actions in this area as well.

The scheduling issues don't make sense. The schedule isn't exact. Some teams, even without the tournaments involved only played 1 match while others played 3. It could have been worked around. It is definitely obvious that it was made to not work around.

I don't have the energy to find the quote but someone already posted how Nathan took credit for setting up the stream and all the nuances of it. Then when it failed, it wasn't his fault. Then he added a new thingamabob, that failed and it still wasn't his fault.

Nathan is only the producer when something goes wrong but he developed on his own a new way to cut pockets in a pool table. That would be like the producer of Monday Night Football saying he invented a new artificial turf. What is next - are we going to here that Bonus Balls are actually more perfectly round than any ball ever played with before?

A contractor did work or didn't do work in the building for 6 months and no one, not Larry, not his staff, not his mother was there to oversee it.

BB is on CBS news. No BB is on local CBS news.

The viewership, stream #s, website views. Big lies.

All the players love BB. I along with others have gotten messages directly that are the contrary.

I've had other info told to me that hasn't even been posted here. I can't confirm or deny so I haven't posted it but it all seems strange.

Lastly, and again you can say this is no one's business, but BB hasn't told anyone how they plan to put the money in the register. If you go back, as I posted, and read some of the interviews - first it was TV. Then it was PPV. Now it is all a big secret. Here's a secret - no one is going to steal your idea cause no one is going to put 1.5 million into pool on the if/come. Keeping it a secret just makes it to me and others that BB doesn't have a clue what they are doing. Looks like you are trying to nail jello to a wall. Keep trying but all I can see is that turning into a big mess.

whats the long term outcome?? probably a failure seeing how the "fans" shit on other people's hard work to make YOUR dream come true. Stop ****ing crying, invest a few dollars and watch the matches. Support what you say is your game, instead of *****ing and moaning like a bunch a ****ing crybabys. **** man, am I wrong?? what the **** is it that you people want???

I think this same thing every time I read the computer chair criticism.

Just support it. It doesn't have to be perfect, they are learning from their mistakes.

Just ****ing support it! I think everyone except 20% of the posters on here are the "glass half empty" kinda people.

BB please don't stop! I enjoy the product and I know others do too.
