Tournament board said to be back by 11am or 1pm, Corey figured it was 1pm and got forfeited. He then punched Charlie Williams in the forehead and took off...................HOLY SMOKES!!!

In other news, Shane Van Boening also got forfeited but I don't know if he committed any violence over it.

Two top flight player's forfeited. there must have been some confusion on the board.
 
I wanted to kick the dog once when I got home after losing a match. I didn't follow through though. Besides, the neighbors really like their dog.

lol, Corey vs. Charlie in a fist fight? That might be the funniest thing I've heard in a while. I've never been to fond of Charlie so I hope he's got a dotted eye. I might try to call Corey later and see what happened.
 
I never figured Corey to pop somebody in the noggin. LOFL

Seriously though, I find it hard to believe seasoned top pros like that would make such rookie mistake(s) in the absence of a gafaw...

Thats funny right there. I don't think this is a good move but the soft v's cut comment was great.

I can certainly empathize with this happening. I am sorry to say, that this Corey (CCC) has certainly felt like doing the same, in the past, participating in one of those tournaments.

Still, I hope Charlie is ok and that Corey, in the future, finds a better way to deal with his frustration.

Well one thing I know is dont hit the guy in the forehead,go for the nose,eye,and the best is the jaw,why the forehead,that and the top of the skull do little damage. :cool:
 
I just talked to SVB and it is true that he had to forfeit. There was confusion on when the morning matches started.

Lenny - some people haven't thrown as many punches as you have so their aim might not be so exact. I think Corey making contact is a bonus.
