McDermott D-3 in bubinga that I sold on AZB last year. I used it to "break the ice" as my first sale on the forum. It is the finest example of a D-3 I have ever seen (the nicest wood) and was nearly perfect, still had the factory sticker on the butt cap.

You can see it here (second cue) next to some other cues I have for comparison, the D-3 looks absolutely on fire.

Striped ebony with bubinga rings and striped bubinga handle.
This is my first combo of these woods.
I don't know if I was the first one to use bubinga rings but I don't recall seeing one before.
No finish on this yet, just a shellac sealer.
It's owned by Yuri.

And one more. I like bubinga and dark curly maple together.

Thanks for looking!

................

Figured Bubinga is one of my favorite flavors. All Babinga except the veneers.

I was told it was called "quilted bulbinga", but I've seen a few others that are quite similar, refer to it as "waterfall bulbinga"

Bubinga

Here's my contribution...John Davis Cue. Full splice bubinga into BEM with flame veneers.

I love to look of waterfall/quilted bubinga. It almost has a three dimensional look.

Looks like Quilted to me. The cues I posted are Waterfall. IMO

Bubinga has many looks and each has a name to help describe it. I don't think there's anything written in stone were to fallow when naming Bubinga.
