Buyer / Seller transaction report

I also had a very nice deal this week with digitalcrack and his buddy Alton Takata of Cuecaps. After seeing Ray's thread about Alton's caps, I decided to get some ebony and ivory "teeth caps" for my Richard Black "Shark Cue". Alton and Ray were both really helpful. Thanks for everything, guys!

Cubswin

I purchased a Varney Break/ Jump cue from Cubswin and would like to report it was SMOOTH as the shaft of my new Varney:D :) . Great doing business with him and was mighty pleased with his communication with me. Cubswin in my book wins the pennant, CUBSWIN THE PENNANT!
 
Just sealed a "longer term" deal with Jimmyrayk today on my latest Black Boar (model RS-4). Jimmy picked up the cue for me at DCC in January, then worked with me on a timeframe when I'd be ready to pull the trigger.

He held the cue on trust, and a minor deposit, and took it on faith that I would come through on the deal.

Suffice to say, I came through, and so did he!!

Mark, I surely have enjoyed all the buying, selling, swapping, etc. through the last 12 years or so, but nothing compares to the number of friendships I have developed with special people like yourself, Bill Grassley, Will Prout, Guycrunch (I could go on and on) and the list continues to grow. Troy Oldham (www.onthehill.net) and I just worked are first deal and it is very apparent that he is another class guy to deal with.

We will continue to do more cue stuff and hopefully hook up at shows like the DCC and VF events.
