The same way everyone else did - by hoping he didn’t get a skid at a critical moment of a match.
Beyond that, I asked Skip Nemecek, Tweeten's President, about the flag. He said that Tweeten was making Masters with and without the flag on the wrapper at the same time. I think "pre-flag" is not a useful idea.
You have to realize there is a small amount of unobtainium in the preflag stuff that isn't in the stuff with the flag.
I didn't believe for a minute that the gross of flag master I bought was as good as the preflag but sometimes you have to make do!

I would have said that chalking over the table makes tables even dirtier than overchalking does.
Agree, its not how much but where its done. Off-table is no issue, over the table is.
So I have a unique problem. Most players switch their cue to the opposite hand and chalk with their playing hand. I play left handed. I eat left handed and I write and draw left handed. Almost everything else I do right handed. I throw a ball, bowl, bat, do just about everything right handed. So I chalk right handed. I always wondered why other people's hands don't get as chalked up messy as mine until I was watching someone who played right handed set their cue in the opposite hand and chalk with their right hand. I thought that was so weird.
Then I realized I was the odd duck, but it makes for a messy hand and table, it's unavoidable. It's also why I never needed a glove, I was constantly chalking my fingers.
