Here is the challenge from APA7 (not me)

I kno David can`t play as well as he pretends 2, that iz a fact.

I said it before that I am just an amater player.

Since David said he ran over 128 the other week, according to David, I am willing 2 bet that he can`t run 75 on a live video stream. I will give 8 hours to try and I will bet as much as i can afford, more than $1000 less than $1500.

Brian

Here is the offer to back David Sapolis, our own Blackjack

If Dave gets to set up a break shot and start from there you have a bet Brian. I will back Dave for your limit of $1500 and the money has to be frozen. Dave has 8 hours to run 75 balls without missing. When he misses then he starts over.

Now it's up to Dave - I will be happy to share this action with anyone who wants a piece of it. I think it's stone cold stealing and I love free money.

Hell Grady used to tell people he'd run a hundred before the night was out or the exhibition was free. I didn't hear of him giving up too many free exhibitions.

Now we all anxiously await David's response as to whether we have action.

I kind of have a feeling -- and I may be wrong -- that APA7's challenge to David Sapolis was expressed for one purpose, and it was not to gamble with Blackjack.

What kind of challenge is this? Even if it was a legitimate challenge I would ignore it. Anytime that I have run over 100 balls it was not done with the idea to run 100 it was done unknowingly but only to win a match. These types of runs do not come just because you want it they come when you don't think about them. If you have some kind of grudge with him, then simply offer a head to head competition or leave it alone.

I would put down on Dave's side if anybody wants the other end of it......

Depending on the timing of the event I would be willing to go big..... real big... :O

I'm willinhg to bet he doesn't respond and willing to bet more he doesn't take the bet. I would bet bunches he won't post tthe dough.

Talk is easy from the cheap seats and more often meaningless from those who have no clue what they are talking about.

I agree. Johnnyt

Frank is dead on here. This is exactly what David and I talked about, when I spoke with him the other night, regarding APA7's b.s. remarks.

Wasn't APA7 recently banned (albeit) temporarily for being a negative asshat?

What spurred this on, some comment made and some offense taken 'cause it hit too close to home?

David is a class act from everything I have read from a ton of people for whom I have respect. Something doesn't add up and I don't need a calculator.

It is not allowed to call someone names here on AZBilliards, but I would have called APA7 for an idiot if I could. Now I can't, so I won't say he is. I love these rules.

Regarding the bet, I guess it will never happen, because BlackJack has no interest in proving anything to APA7, or to anyone. He doesn't need to.

This is a ridiculous proposition.

From a pride stand point it puts Blackjack in the spot light and APA7 has nothing to lose (except money). Why doesn't he just play him?

Besides if Blackjack doesn't manage to run 75 in 8 hours what does that prove? Anyone can have an off night or day.

If I were David, I would not dignify this with a response.
