Oh well. Adios back across the pond. When you make decisions that obviously the majority of fans dislike maybe they should take a close look. And if that is their thought of screw it I guess the real fans don't need them anyway.

Racist? how do u figure. People dont like him because of his attitude and history, Same goes for mika alot of times. It has nothing to do with where he's from or what race he is.

Jay as usual you make great points, my aim as a coach is to 1 day be the captain for Europe, and i think the rold should be on merit on a coaches work and having earned it through their work. Now i have to be careful how i word this or i upset the powers that be and my 0.0001% chance of getting it 1 day disappears and i have to make the team via the rankings. In my opinion its not being given to the right people who earn it, or its given to the same people all the time because their face fits. Johan is a great coach and this moment in time earns it. As for team usa, it should go to 1 of your recognised coaches, randy,stan amongst others. but you have to be more recognised in my opinion to be the coach. Who knows if Charlie will do a good job, you will find out soon enough.

Maybe they should start a coaches ranking system so a coach has something to aspire to and can earn the role through their work.

Well, I plan on going for a couple of days to the MC. I have a couple of people I would like to see and say hi to. Also would like to catch some of the action, I just know how much money it is right before Christmas so I can't stay the whole time.

I can convey my arguments using an amalgamation of charlie williams, mortal kombat, string cheese, yarn, magnetic card keys, and "shooting your liver in."

I will also not compare JJ to CW in any way.

I would like to go on record and state clearly that Charlie is better than a couple of members of Team USA, I'm hoping someone sprains a wrist so Charlie can win the match for USA.

I assume you mean Putnam and Dechaine. If you mean one of Johnny, Shane, or Rodney please point me to the betting window.

Ok so there are few more polarizing people in pool than Charlie, and I for one don't care for him....BUT, this is like putting a beach ball on a batting tee for the haters. He is in a no win situation here. It looked like the US was a bit of a dog going into this event, and now Charlie is named captain. I can just hear the post Cup chatter on here now.....he IS going to be the scapegoat if they loose and if they win it will be in spite of him. Look I don't like the guy either and there were tons of other deserving people who could have filled this position and would have gotten a fair shake win, loose or draw. This guy is dead in the water and no one has even racked yet. IMHO he has earned all of the flack that he is catching here but just the same this IS the team that we are sending and we should support their efforts in spite of his selection.....unless you are from Europe, in that case I would double my bet.
