Charlie Williams named as Captain Team USA Mosconi Cup!

What would make for a good behind the scenes type show - at least for the pool enthusiasts - would be to actually have a real coach. Someone who would expect the players to practice, eat right, sleep at a reasonable time.

The amusement would be how that never happened. Players out all night partying. Players pissing each other off. Then the money being blown in the casino after they are paid.

just playing devils advocate...which is truly an appropriate term here...but CW is in the top 30 money list and only Mike Davis ranks higher of the remaining non mosconi cup usa players. Williams has demonstrated more leadership credentials than Davis and is not as divisive as the next highest usa money earner, Earl.
 
Well I called it the other day. This is really a disgrace CW must know he does not deserve this and should drop himself from the team. He begged for the job and I am guessing had his buddies go to matchroom and help. If you are not picked due to deserving it then do you really want it?

I don't care what you say - in all of recorded human history I do not believe nor will I ever believe that the shoulder tap has actually worked!
 
I guess this means that the MC will now magically become a "World Championship" event like his recent 14.1 tourney... :o

It is with the pocket book and decisions to NOT support the Mosconi Cup this year due to this short sighted and politically motivated decision made by Matchroom that they might figure it out, rethink what they are doing, and give these types of postitions to more deserving people in the future. If people still go and people still watch they could not care less what those people "think".
