You might want to speak to the hotel management and possibly even your attorney to find out what the terms of the contract was. Your being booted from the hotel might have been in violation of your rights. As a minimum, you should be reimbursed for the hotel stay.

He is the tournament director and the hotel didn't want you to be a paparazzi. People hate paparazzi's. Also, security issues.

And you sir are an A..! Angel happens to be an important member of the pool community. The project she has worked on for years may well dwarf Barry's 38 turbulent years as "flounder" of the US Open.

P.S. He's NOT the Tournament Director, Ken Shuman is. And that shows how much you know about anything. ZILCH!

Without specifically targeting Barry, can you think of a reason Ken wasn't racking for all the streamed matches? Or at the very least, on the final day?

Conditions contained within a contract which violate or restrict the legal rights of a third party are generally illegal and unenforceable.

There may be a basis for legal recourse and possible restitution.

Not if the 3rd party was a security risk. That is all they have to say and be cleared of it.

Maybe if a federal or other government security agency made the claim, not some private hotel security firm or an event promoter. Besides, that's up to a court to ultimately decide.

If I truly felt as though my rights were violated, I would pursue it.

Most places don't allow you to go in their establishment and start filming. No need for a RECON mission going on in the place.

For the security of the guest and it's high profile participants.
