Christmas angel needed for poolroom worker

A young woman who has worked diligently for a pool room owner the previous two years has recently been victimized by this person (I cannot bring myself to say "man") when he sold his room and left town ahead of various creditors.

He owed her a little over $1200.00 in payroll. As he hurried out of the pool room for the last time, he gave her this cue, stating it was the best he could do as he got in his car and drove off.

She does not understand the cue market, however she knows this cue is not a $1200.00 cue. She asked me to list it for her at $600.00 or best offer, and I am doing so for her:

I believe the cue is the McDermott Sedona. It should have McDermott's quick release pin. Its the pin they use on most of their higher-endish cues. Here's a link to the McDermott page for it: http://www.mcdermottcue.com/M16A_a.asp

Best price i've seen online for this cue is $695, so IMHO this is being listed for an excellent price here.

Hope this helps and happy holidays!

That is a very generous offer Bill, thank you. Also thanks to the 2 azer's who made donations to her paypal account that wish to remain anonymous. She is seeing the goodness of the pool community today.

Why doesn't she take the guy to court and get her money?
Have you ever taken anybody to court? This is payroll, not accounts receivable. She probably can't afford to just get in line and wait it out, if he can be located and served.
