You're doing a disservice to pool by sounding like a ****ing moron. No one wants to hear you babble on and drunkenly sing. Just shut up and do your job.
I assume you're toolki talking about Tunica? If so I completely agree. The commentary from Tunica is like listening to paint dry. I think commentators should comment on the game and who's involved. if you want to bs with the chat room, stream it and join the damn chat room. I seriously had to mute Ekonomopolous vs Wang.

Unfortunatley I have been unable to watch. I think there are 2 streams going on Accustats and Bigtruck. I could be wrong.however both have a good reputation around here and I would be shocked if these guys were as bad as you guys are saying. Who was actually doing the commentary that was so bad?

I'm not sure of the guy's name but I can hear his voice grating on my brain right now, even at work with no pool videos playing. I guess I should not complain though. the video is excellent and I can always listen to Spotify and ignore it.
Edit: here's a link to part 2 of the one that drove me nuts. couldn't find part 1 on my phone, but the first few minutes of that were grueling for me.

1. Keep score. I'll even buy you the pencil and paper. I can't remember the last time I watched a commented one-pocket match where the commentator knew the ball count. If there's two commentators, they'll argue about it and both are wrong! Watch the SBE 2011 10-ball VanBoening-Pagulayan match: every time Alvin mentions the score, he's got it wrong.
2. Talk about the game that's going on (next shot, problem balls, etc) or shut up. Babbling on about anything else is like sitting in the stands with two drunks behind you babbling on about their life in pool. I'd love to hear about that over a drink...but not while I'm trying to enjoy a match
If you have to tell a story wait until the players are racking for the next game. If you want to invite someone on to plug their product, do it between racks.
3. Turn up the table volume and turn down the commentator volume. Hearing the sounds of the table makes the viewer feel like he's right there. But hearing the commentator 3 times as loud as the table is like...well, see #2 above. Buy a $99 audio mixer if you don't already have one.
4. Pay no attention to the chat room. It is very distracting, see #2 above. If I want to know what the chatters are saying, I'll watch the chat room.
5. Remember the rule: Silence is golden. Why do commentators think they always need to be talking? Talk when there is something important to say...otherwise let us hear the sounds of the table.

"Ive been preparing for this stream all day"
"Wang is from China, I think"
"Exonomopholiacitc (butchering his name) played in the Mosconi cup, if my memory serves me".
And this was pay per view? The chat told him to STFU within 5 minutes of his broadcast and he got all defensive. LMAO
He needs to speed his voice up and get back with the chipmunks.
