Glen has been back home here in WA for the last few months or more and his brother was taking care of his youngest son...died in a car accident early Saturday morning....
At 7:50pm Saturday night, the 16yr old driving the Toyota 4Runner lost control ov the vehicle with 4 other kids in the car, one of them being my 17yr old son Calvin. As the suv ran off the side of the road it hit 2 trees, breaking the first tree in half with the right side of the car, which the causedthe car to hit the second tree on the drivers side of the car, which was the side of the car my son was riding on in back seat, left side. The car hit with such force that my son died instantly from the massive trama inflicted to the back of his head, but the car continued in its forward momentum going over the side of the road and down the embankment only stopping once it hit the bolders down in the ravine, which are about the same size as the car. At 2:30am, a tow truck lifted the car up from the ravine by the front end of the frame, as the car had been flipped around 180 degrees after hitting the second tree before it continued on down the side of the hill, my son was still in the ar at this time, when it was loaded onto the flatbed wrecker, the roof caved in so no way to remove my sons body. From there, it was taken away to some place else to extract my son from the wreckage, afterwhich my son was going to be taken to downtown Seattle to the kKing County coroners office for an autopsy I guess to determine the exact cause of his death. He was finally released to the mortuary this afternoon at about 3:30pm. Funeral is Friday at 1pm....don't know if it'll be an open casket or not....at this time, but leaning towards not from what I've seen already at the mortuary in person. Starting to build his casket tomorrow, thank you all for your kind words.
