Corey Deuel Will Play Niels Feijen For $20,000

Why isn't Corey the one doing the talking...instead of you? It never fails to amuse me that people like you stick your chest way out, shoot your mouth off, and want to challenge the world playing pool for money...but, you're NOT the one who's playing. Tell me something, are you Corey's
self-proclaimed mouth piece, or can Corey speak for himself? Both players have shown to play very well, but what have you shown other than the fact that you can run your mouth? I'd rather hear of the challenge from Corey instead of some two-bit mouth like yours...let Corey speak for himself!

Corey Duel doesn't duck anyone that's for sure. I haven't spent a lot of time talking to him but one thing I gather about Corey is that he is generally willing to take on anyone at any pocket billiards game. I believe that he feels he can master any game and is willing to gamble a little or a lot trying.

I saw him take down Scott Frost playing one pocket. He gambles rotation with Efren at $100 a game for practice.

We needn't forget that Corey and Alex ran the roads together for a couple years. They have seen all kinds of games and all kinds of action.

Corey would surely play Orcullo. If Orcullo were to go to Ohio he might have a chance to empty out the state if he gives Corey weight. I personally don't think Orcullo has to like it one bit though. Corey Duel in stroke and zeroed in on the break shot is pretty formidable.

After all, look what Alcano did with the soft break that Corey reintroduced to the pro game. No one has to like it when Corey gets the break down.

IMO Niels and Corey is a coin toss if they play a dash for the cash. If they play an ahead set I like Niels in that because I believe that Niels will stay more consistent throughout wheras Corey can get a little doggish for no apparent reason. Still, it's too close to call for me so I won't be betting either way.

Just for action's sake, I'd flip a coin and bet $50 on whichever one comes up.

I'm not the biggest Corey Deuel fan in the world. But I did see him give a guy the break and BIH after the break in 1P and still win. I like the way he gambles, matches up pretty good. Never seen Fejin gamble.

Note to trolls on delusional matchup threads: make it more interesting. Next time try something like: Reyes and Orcollo will play God and Jesus, 60 ahead for 1 bazillion dollars and all future rights to the superbowl commercial airtime.

This thread:

Corey and Niels were both being staked by the same guy at the DCC. But if they were to play I'd also say its a coinflip. And please quit it with Corey playing Dennis.

WHo's trying to play Orcullo an even-up, ahead set, for big bucks? NO American, NO European, NO Asian, NO Russian, NOBODY.

And Neils vs Corey? The great sultan, Al-Fahal Amir, will put up both ends...

10% refund for showing action

This game was wolfed up and people said they would put Niels in I was just told to relay message that Corey's money was available to be posted.....Maybe the afla jamir or whatever that dumb screen name is a.k.a. Aaaron Czetli will put in Niels cause I heard through a reliable source he likes Niels end of the game....and I know he stakes both players but gambling is gambling....it ain't personal....Aaron if you read this I am pretty sure if you put up 20k on Niels you can get 10% back if Niels loses just for showing good action................

Guys...come on. It doesn't really matter if either guy likes the game. Neither one is going to put up the cheese so all that matters is if the backers like it.

I would go off like a big red rocket if Neils could beat Cory even at anything on a pool table.

Nits!!!!! Nits!!!!!!! and More Nits!!!!!

I love this place, just like any good pool room any where in the world, seems like there is always some nit who wants to woof!!!, and in reality doesn't even have ten cents in their pocket.

What has happened to the old day's when great players like Corey and Neils would just set up a match and play until someone looses. BACKERS, real men do not need backers, they play with their own money. This is the true test, it will separate the men from all the little boy's.:p When you are playing for twenty large and it's your own money, there is no better stress test.;)

I personally think that Corey Verse Neils would be a great match if they were both firing their own bullets, hell, you could fill a theater charging $50a head just to watch.

But, I agree with the King Cobra, the mouth pieces need to be silenced and Cory and Neils need to sound off, if they were ever involved in the first place.

So, for the drama queens, and you know who you are, go sit down in the cheap seats where you are comfortable, and place your hands in your right and left pockets, that way you can play your best game of pool.;)

Oh! and by the way if you stroke it more than four times you are playing with it:eek:  :D

I no way have the cash to back either of these two great players, but if I were to pick a winner. I would have to say that Neils seems to be playing better at this moment than Corey. I know how much time he puts in on the table and the conditioning that he tried to keep up with (which will factor into a longer race). I would venture to sat that with the current state of ther games that Neils is on rightnow, not to say that Corey could not get right back, but he is showing less than favorable in the tourneys lately. So if I had 20K in cash either virtual or real i would have to take Neils. Next month I might have to take Corey.

We can put that on the back of your tee shirt and drop you off at DCC.

Unless Niels just feels like taking a free shot, I doubt he will play Corey even. I think he knows he cant win this match so its highly unlikely that he would shoot a loyal backers' money to try and outrun it. However, I know a ton of players that would. Has anyone even talked to Corey? If not, I will call him. Let me know.

What are you on? Niels has beaten Corey plenty of times. Besides the fact that Niels is hitting them as well as anyone on the planet right now.

I will put up eleventy billion dollars and I will pay both Niels and Corey!!! I'll play them one handed! And they can each have two strokes to my one stroke!!!

God! This is the dumbest thread I have read in a while.
And for those of you who think Feijin is a lock, think again.

ill play corey

And ill bet the entire 67 dollars in my pocket! We can play 1 game for it all or 10 ahead, makes me no difference.

lol, you obviously dont know the difference between gambling and tournament play. I've seen Corey and others get beat by relative no names in tournaments especially on the losers side just so they can go out or play golf. Any decent player is subject to win in a short tournament race. However, I've never seen Corey donk it off for the cash. It is like a totally different animal. Here is a recent example: In Atlanta a couple of months back Shane Van Boening was torching everyone. He gave Tony Watson and Troy Frank the 8 on a triple shim diamond and demolished them. He also asked to play John Schmidt, Charlie Bryant, Larry Nevel, and Dennis Hatch among others to play even and each declined. After watching this for several days, Corey stepped up and GAVE Shane the 8 on the same table and beat him. Danny Basavich told me that he likes Corey for the cash over anyone in the world. I think that he would throttle Neils in an ahead set for the cheese.
