Cuemakers, Pro Players & AZ

I think it's because they get banned before they've said everything they want to say.
Some people obviously have more to say than most, they want to be heard, so they return under an alias.
As long as it's obvious who the alias really is, and the mods don't care, then it's not a big deal.
The real problems are with the scammers creeping back in all the time.

So, they come back and argue a ton more and one day go nuts again and get banned again. Then they post on their FB, they're victims of the mods here.
Then they come back again.
So, really, it's like the no child left behind program.

Joey. I was just having a beer. I'm glad that I didn't have any in my mouth when I read that. Some should be left behind.

My Friends will buy AZB. I will manage and fire the Mods.

Hahaha. Now that one was Victim Gold right there.

Why dont they just ban IP addresses instead of usernames? I would hazard a guess that most posters dont know how to fake an IP.

Close Joey, there is a No Cuemaker Left Behind program already in place.
Casemakers don't count>>
Casemakers are barely pool related, they should hang out at the leather sites, or go to some garmetdistrict.com forum...just kidding

lmao. How did I know that's how you'd wiggle.

That you were Roadie.

Lou Figueroa
let's see
what evasive comeback
that elicits
Why should I admit anything? Everyone should be Roadie.

I will admit to bring Roadie or any other member as soon as you admit you defamed and trolled Stan Shuffett.

Or actually they are the smart ones and don't want to cede the playground to the stupid bullies.

You know like clueless assholes who make false and defamatory accusations, just skirting the rules enough to not be banned.

Maybe some good folks wouldn't ever be banned if those trolling assholes would get their rocks off antagonizing the good contributors.

So maybe its really no troll left behind. Because honestly that is all some people are on the forum.

Its a Forum, on the Interwebs....... how can you honestly expect things to be any different??

Like Justin pointed out earlier in this thread, if you want the "good", you have to fade the "bad". That is so true. Just like real life if you think about it.......

Well, they can just use their phones as wireless host or control another computer ( like say in Canada ) .
Or pay some IP masking services.
If they are pathetic enough to register different aliases and pretend to be someone else, they'd be pathetic enough to do that.
One infamous person here who has been banned several times and has created multiple accounts, made up some Billy Bob in GA. Kinda funny, Billy Bob started writing dumb first then wrote the same exact way as his original self after he got into some heated argument .

John, you're the one who brought up Roadie saying, "Who would you be talking about? Roadie? A guy who harmed no one and who was always polite?" as if to say that because Roadie was polite it was OK that he was your alias while you were banned.

And see, that's the thing, John, everyone knows Roadie was you. The fact that you can't bring yourself to admit it is what's funny, and revealing, and... kinda sad.

i think overall it is toxic but lots of great info on here about upcoming tourneys and what not.

the "haters" on AZ sometimes go overboard with professional players

Yes, the "haters" on AZ sometimes go overboard with professional players. Luckily they've always treated me with the utmost respect:thumbup2: and courtesy.

Here is what is comes down to. If you want to USE this forum to advertise then you better sure not ever give an opinion that goes against the majority or defend it if challenged. Because once you do that for some reason you become fair game for every kind of slander imaginable.

As long as you stay quiet and don't challenge anyone in any way you will be ok on AZB. But if you speak up to correct any ignorance then you risk being attacked.

My feeling is that industry people and pros should be accorded the respect they deserve UNTIL they act like assholes. When they act like an asshole then ok they gave up the opportunity to be somewhat protected. But they should be allowed to correct false and ignorant information without being attacked for it.

But that's not how it is. The toxicity referred to is real. It basically comes down to the fact that no amateur player here can hang with a pro player on the table and nor do they have the inside line on the industry (in most cases) but they feel equal to anyone in this business when it comes to written battles and unlike the pro or the industry person they don't need to be constrained by facts.

Any person here can simply make up whatever stories they want, can couch it in "speculation" and thus defame any pro and defame any industry professional. And that is what happens often with almost no recourse for the victim of such defamation.

So if you wonder why more professionals are not here to mingle with the fans and consumers, that's why.

Pretty sad, really.
Pathological too, I think.

I know. Just giving my opinion. And also people will tend to get away with being as nasty as they are capable of when they have that sort of character.

I participate in several forums which have a zero tolerance policy for nastiness. They have a ton of mods who are always on top of it when someone gets out of line.

So yeah its the internet but it doesn't have to be the wild west either.

Well who were you talking about then?

Roadie was polite and never harmed anyone.

You should have lobbied to keep him. Especially if you think it was me.

Who was I talking about?

I was just throwing out one of those "if the shoe fits" things and less than an hour later you're bringing up Roadie.

Looks to be a nice, comfortable fit, Roadie :-)

Maybe and maybe not. However the point is that there would be no need for aliases if there were no trolls or bullies allowed. You're a prime example of the type of bully who shouldn't be allowed to flourish on AZB.

You are one of the direct reasons that some pros do not post here.

No, that's not the point at all -- it's the internet, get over it. I have one numbnuts loser here that likes to post links to cartoons of me every post he makes; anytime I make a post about magical aiming systems being ca-ca I have half a dozen anonymous trolls on me. I probably have close to a dozen guys in my Ignore file, it's easy, I'm over it.

Soooooo if there are any delicate flower pros out there who are scared of big, bad Lou Figueroa on AZ, they can cry me a river. And I mean that in the nicest way possible :-)

And yet, you're on here, all day every day. Truth is, you like this just as it is, and are indistinguishable from those you chastise.
