custom 2x4 cases

Nah..i dont think it was a case of the "If its too good to be true it probably is" syndrome...I just think he got WAYYY over his head on this one and it has hurt him so bad nobody will do buisiness with him...I know it would take alot for me to do buisiness with him.....not sure that id pay up front though...or if I did, have a reasonable time set to when I should recieve teh case...if its not in my hands by that reasonable date, then I get all my money back.....


Hope everyone either gets thier money back, or a case though...i really hate to see Chaz do this to himself....and to fellow Az'ers
 
cant post it. dont have the phone software on my laptop, i should have my desktop with the software in a few days. im in the middle of moving apartments. glad to see this thread and it's inhabitants is not forgotten!
 
I would love to see the pic as well. I have been in contact with Eric and Chaz and I feel confident in what they are telling me. It has taken a while to get the final product but I feel the delivery of these cases will be happening soon. I know some of you are more than fed up with all the delays and such and I totally have been there as well. I just think when the cases do start flowing out we will be glad we waited. Thats just my humble opinion anyway. Good luck guys I hope that you get your cases or money soon whichever one your wanting. Im gonna choose to give him the benefit of the doubt and wait for my case. Its a different approach for me.

I have only been reading bits and pieces of this thread. If the interiors are the only thing holding up shipment of the finished cases, I am willing to help out with 15 or 20 ProLite interiors at a reasonable price. Have Chaz contact me at 954-974-5614 if interested. He can drive down and pick them up anytime.

If chaz does take Jack Justis up on the prolite interior offer and anyone wants to back out. I may be interested. Based On the prices I am hearing paid and the high tech supper lite interior it may be one hell of a deal!!!!

Plus, DirtyPool is a hell of a guy and this thread is really kind of annoying. Based on my read. They have made available refunds! But, for weeks no one has asked for a refund and not gotten it!!!!! So, why come on here and Bit@h????

I know I said I was off this thread, but in this case I will make one post, then fade out again. :deadhorse:

As I keep saying, I stepped into this mess after it was already bad, and have been trying to unscramble things since with little success. I keep throwing what little money I can scrounge at the problem, trying to get Chaz enough materials that he can get you cases.

INTERIORS -

Interiors have been holding us up. We finally received the interiors I ordered late last week, and they were the wrong style, don't fit any of the patterns Chaz had been cutting to, and basically things ground to a halt. :banghead:

I have spoken with "the MAN" aka JB and getting things straightened out. I am paying mucho extra shipping to get the correct interiors here NOW instead of on the slow boat. I am told they should arrive mid-week, roughly August 20.

Chaz assures me that's all that's holding him up and cases will start to flow at 1-2 a week until we are caught up. This should be the last hold up, and as always I appreciate everyone's patience as we struggle through these growing pains.

Right now Chaz is finishing a case that should ship in the next day or so (owner's option to post). It looks realy nice so far (I got to see progress last night). I am confident the owner will be happy and post pics. This one is built on the interior I had for my own case. Yup, I am buried in this swamp and don't have a case myself, I am back to using a 16yo vinyl silver fox. (At least that should give you guys a laugh).

Take your time with mine I'm in no hurry. The people that build custom cues and custom cases are talented and unique individuals. In my 39 years of playing pool 99% of the time I've had to wait longer than expected, it's been well worth the wait. I hope when people start getting the cases they spend this much time and effort repairing some of the damage that's been caused here. Good luck Chaz I hope everyone gets there case soon. Thanks dirtypool40 for doing the best you can in a bad situation.

How long is the list, and how far out is it?
From what I can see, I want one!
If you wanted a case quick and not made- there's always ebay or the store.
If you want something good with some pride behind it, expect to wait.
Run out and get a Customized Southwest right off the shelf somewhere. Not real likely.
Keep up the good work guys, there's always going to be discontent in the ranks, just like there is always going to be those who will sing your praise high on the mountains.....:wink:

Just to set MY thoughts straight.

I fully support waiting (almost forever) for a hand made perfect case.

However, I do not support the lack of communication and the BS excuses that I have been getting for at least 2-3 months now.

So, hopefully my case will come soon now. I had asked for a refund but never got that either. So, hopefully, something will come soon.

Sorry to hear this Felix. Everytime I see your name as the last post in this thread I click it hoping to hear that you got it today and everything was worth the wait.

Hopefully not too much longer?
