I'm sure I'll get torn apart for saying this but, for 100-125 it's tough to beat a Dale Perry eBay cue. 2 years down the road if they want a better or bigger cue they will still get 100 out of it. I never bought one but recently took one on a trade that had a DP-R low deflection shaft. I can't see anyone getting much more cue for 100 than what DP is selling. The one I had played very well, was a pretty cue, rolled straight, and hit very well.
Opinions on DP cues vary because he used to sell high end cues and pretty much screwed a lot of people who paid top dollar for a custom cue by selling cues so cheap on eBay. It drove the higher end cues values into the groud and pissed off a lot of people. I have owned a lot of cues and don't see how someone can go wrong with a DP.
