SWEET set up!!

Curious what are you planning to do with the inside of the lights!?

I haven't decided yet. I was planning on staining them then I thought painting them a solid color inside would look cool thats why I caulked the seems. I'm thinking some kind of silver or light gray.

Getting close. One question. Why does the cloth look blue out side on the rails and green inside? Is it the lighting? Great job

I thought it looked blue as well but I figured it was just my colour blindness messing with me again.

More Pics

Ironic, but, I was messing with the camera the other day and I found it had a whole bunch of settings. I came across several low light and night settings. I got to thinking how this feature would have really came in handy with all of the other hundred or so pics I took in the dark. Well better late than ever. So! here is a really cool pic I took of the room the other night in really good quality. I also snapped one of the Bar.

Notice I haven't installed the side skirts yet. I plan on finishing them up this weekend. May take a little longer since I will be applying several polyurethane coats. Also this picture was taken before I leveled the lights.

what a beautiful pool room:eek: I wish I had a room like this:(

WOW! Congrats to you on a hell of a project! It has been awesome watching this for the past year. I cant imagine your sense of accomplishment finally seeing it all come together. Enjoy the f$%k out of that room!

Does Billiards Digest still do a "best home room" feature? This may be room of the decade especially due to the fact it was built form the ground up by the owner.

Wouldn't you agree it would look even better with a framed Terrible Towel on the wall? :)

I've been off the forum and out of pool for awhile, but a buddy told me about this thread yesterday so I had to check it out. I didn't read the whole thing just saw most of the beginning pictures and skipped ahead to the end after about page 8. Holy smokes! That is one heck of a project and one heck of a poolroom. Cheers to you sir.

First, thanks again for continuing to share with those of us who love this stuff.

Amazing room! It looks like an exclusive private billiard club. Now that's a room to be incredibly proud of having. It's all the sweeter that you and your closest loved ones made it happen with your own hands.

Again...Wow!

Good shooting to you,

Kevin

If you would allow it, I bet the new Cue and Table Magazine would love to include your build. It might not be that important to you, but how cool would it be to have it immortalized in print (well e-print).
