VERY cool. I've seen Danny play JAM UP and always wondered why he doesn't finish higher more often in tour events.

What tour events are you refering to? I don't think he plays in UPA events. He does finish high in most tournments he enters. He just beat a former US Open Champion, John S., in an all around match, which included 1pocket,14.1 and 10ball.

And it is on tape.

Very Nice. Congratulations to Danny. I hope this helps him find a sponsor.

When you put the dvd up for sale, I'm in for one.

I just ordered the Harriman/ Schmidt match yesterday.

excelllent run!...here's an idea, take about 20 to 30 very key shots during the run and highlight them while Danny explains what He's thinking and trying to accomplish with the shot. This would be cool compared to the standard BIG run tapes because most players don't realize what the guys trying to do during the run. It would also shed some light on what this great player is thinking about and his take on patterning.

Gerry<<I'll take a free copy for the suggestion!:)

That is a great run!

Congratulations to Danny!

Danny Harriman is definitely one of the greatest players to ever play this game!

I'll Second That....

Off topic... but

Hey John

You are about to win the Azbilliards high Run award for the second year in a row with your 403. I'm going to get with the members of the Azbilliads Straight Pool Community and have a plaque made to honor this acheivement (you will get 2 plaques - one for 2006 and one for 2007).

I will make a post in the 14.1 forum about this - Congratualtaions to both you and Danny - you are both great players and great people to hang out with - you guys are what makes pool such a wonderful game to be involved with!

Way to go Danny. That's an awesome run.

And let me add that in our straight pool league, Danny never hesitates to share his world-class knowledge of this game with anyone that asks. It's a privilege to play with him on a regular basis.

And I still haven't run 50.:o

Two hundred and eighty balls....so what? Most everyone on here has done that. Oh wait, did you mean without missing and using the last ball as a break out ball. Whew, two completely different things. I guess that is pretty good, then.

Great run. What was the situation? I mean when, where, what kind of table, that kind of thing. That is a substantial run in my book, hope the footage is made available.

Good job Danny.

Just like a Sako ( hits the target every time)

Thanks Scottster for posting. Danny (the Rifleman) the independent. Of course I will ask with which cue? When will danny except the next challenge? Last night was the coldest night of the yr -20 hear. Just another day in Paradise. mark

Are you guys going to make dvds of the run and sell them??

Danny told me that someone at DCC was going to help him edit it and add commentary, then I believe he will make it available.

Good Idea!

That is a great idea Gerry, and would reap many benefits for people that bought the tape. Danny would have to sit down and go through the tape shots himself, but it could be taped, he could interject his reasoning and logic, and decisions he made at the time and why, and it could be spliced together for a final smooth highlight commentary of his own play.

Rep for you.

Yeah, that will be great. He could either just add his own commentary a la John Schmidt on his 245, or he could do commentary with another guy that might be asking him questions and talking about the run a la Schmidt and Fleming on his 112 ball run.

Actually, I liked the Schmidt solo commentary better. Sometimes the other commentator gets in the way.
