danny medina says hello

danny is at felt now anybody wanna say hello?

Hi Danny

I don't expect you to remember me but I was the Hispanic guy with short salt-and-pepper hair you warmed up with at the DCC at the EW several years ago before you had a 9ball match. I was lucky, playing well. On one shot I hit a 3C back-up three-raill tickie on the nine against you and you turned and looked at me and asked if I had played that. When I said yes, you waited a few shots, turned and asked, "What was your name again?"

I had to laugh -- I was playing way over my head.

Ok Jay this is Cash, Danny will call you ...he wants to go to the Rum Runner this year. Lou doesn't seem to remember you, sorry. 720-468-7234 is Danny's number if anyone would like to call him and wish him well. He can really use the good vibes at this point as things are not looking well.

Danny says "God Bless you all as well". Will he sends a hello back to you and feel free to give him a call. Danny also says Congratulations to all the winners down there in Olathe, you guys/gals did well. And again, thanks to all for your prayers and good wishes and feel free to call. Danny doesn't have internet so that is the best way to get a hold of him.

I just got off the phone with my man Dan. Oh what a player he was, fearless and powerful, ready to take on the world. We had it all going one time on a road trip through Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana and Illinois so many years ago. Danny finished in the top four in all three tournaments he played and took down every money game he had for one month. He was a monster!

Danny was confident and bold, never wavering over any bet, even when I felt a little sheepish about betting so high (as much as 500 a game way back when). No matter as Danny took it all down and we parted ways with our pockets stuffed with greenbacks. I really wanted to take him to England to play Pay Ball with the snooker champs (Danny was deadly on a snooker table with pool balls) but alas the big road trip never happened.

He did play for me (the only player I sponsored) at the U.S. Bar Table Championships, winning us money every year, and taking the Eight Ball title some ten years back. Danny Medina was a champion and an exciting player to watch. I'm glad that I got to see him at his best.

He's suffering now with cancer in his liver and his voice is weak. Please say a prayer for Danny. I'd like to see him explode that rack just one more time, with the cue ball flying straight up in the air, maybe two feet off the table, and then stopping dead center when it came down. What a break, no one else could do that. :bow-down:

He kept me in my chair a few times, and Dino as I named em, was tough, tough as a Dinosaur. His swing mechanics Never let em down. He made me play better over my yrs in CO, and I only beat em without luck in match play, maybe 3 times in 25 yrs.

New cure for cancer is now out there!

Danny says "God Bless you all as well".

Hello Danny ...

There is a new cure for cancer out there but I do not know which cancers it will cure, but it is certainly worth looking into. Here is just a little info from the web site, and the web site itself: This info is on a 7 year old girl.

..................................................................................................

They went to Cancer Center at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, which is known for testing and paving the way for new cancer treatments.

“We needed to try something new, different and cutting-edge,” Kari said, according to the Daily Mail.

Doctors brought up the idea of submitting Emily in a clinical trial that uses a disabled form of HIV to bring cancer-fighting genes to her T-cells. The idea behind the study is to reprogram the immune system to attack the cancer cells.

“We were told that we were down to 48 hours of making a decision or she could start having organ failure,” Tom said.

So they decided to go for it on April 17, and Emily became the first child to undergo the treatments called CTL019. Although it was rough for the first couple weeks, her condition improved immensely By the end of April, she was breathing much better and her fever dropped significantly.

And months later, the results were even better.
