thankyou for support

glad people watching the tar i think its great too and am always happy to get involved with them guys and talk to people on line..even if nobody can understand me except my family lol

i have virtually been in states now from start of year and i intend to spend more time in states this year.. main reason because imo the tournaments are much better than anywhere else and more tournametns and more action..and i am making lots of very good friends here :-).. and the strengh in depth is awesome ,yes the americans have been overshadowed a little with so much european success and asia the past few years. but there is still 100s of very good players in states and there some good young players that will come through eventually nobody can dominate forever..

plus there so many good players in us that dont play tournaments as they prefer to play action and keep there id under the carpet :-)

but like i said the playing conditions are much better over here the us and the tables and lot more things happening so thats why am spending lot of time here to try and keep improving my game and this where the money is..

thanks again

You're a good lad and we are glad you are staying in the States for a while. Lets win all three out there. Roy goes on ignore for a week though.

It's SO NICE to see some Europeans winning those American Championships, don't you all agree?

Yes, I agree. It is always a great thing to see exceptional pool add up to a title, regardless of a shooter's nationality. Well played, Darren.

Almost First(haha)....Daz is ridiculous on a bar table but then again so were a bunch of people in the field. Great win. He's going very strong in the 9 ball right now as well. Wonder does he play jam up 8 ball too? We'll see..

Umm, ya, he started in 2-shot 8-ball and was one of the best and rest assured anyone who plays that game at the level he did can play box 8-ball.

are you trying to say my tournaments aren't good enough for you anymore!!!
Hmmmmmm
Just wait till you come home again!!!!

:D

hey Jay I want you to know that Tadd is taking this tournament serious he is practicing all the time. More than anyone else

Now Darren Appleton has got the hot-seat in the 9-ball division too, won 9-1 against Mitch Ellerman to get the hot-seat, after beating Adam Smith 9-8.

Shane is out of the tournament, after losing to Brandon Shuff. Mark Tadd is still in.

Could be a very good week for the World Ten Ball Champion

Tadd just made a sick hill-hill runout after being hooked badly. Exciting stuff!
He immediately threw the remaining 6 balls on the table for some more practice.

I think Mark has to play Glenn Atwell next. No bargains in this field. Darren is simply amazing. I think he wants to win the whole thing. All three divisions! Remember the Eight Ball is next and that's his best game! OUCH!

I was just fixing to post the same thing

Daz has ripped through most of these guys twice already and I don't think he is going to be denied in nine ball today. Regardless of how he finishes today he has to be considered the overwhelming favorite in eight ball which should be his strongest game.

I have watched a few of his matches now and he is winning with smooth tight play, not hero moves getting himself out of jams he got himself into. With this field he could get beaten early in the eight ball just luck of the draw and one or two mistakes but I'd say he is about even odds to finish top three in all three events and not much worse to win all three.

If he never wins another match it would still be an amazing run but I think most of his eight ball matches are going to be ugly, at least in the score box!

(Thanks to those who betted against Darren Appleton)

Now, if I could only find some information about who won that Turning Stone event, and where he's from... Atleast that must have been an American, don't you think?

You can take your stupid a** back to Stavanger and act like a fool to your friends there. I saw Darren at the DCC, he shot great and he was treated in America like a champion. Dignity and respect are qualities easily identified but not mutually shared.
That's Roy, THE A HOLE the charm of Norway you're talking about.

Darren Appleton is winning many friends and many championships and the Americans will continue to support him as long as he continues to show the class that he has thus far, even if he never loses that accent. :D

Congratulations DYNAMITE!
