Dave and I had a nice long talk, probably over an hour. He said he would have worked things out, but I didn't give him a chance to contact Jose or anything, which he felt obligated to do. When Dave comes back in a week, I am asking everyone to at least give him a chance to prove himself and make things right. He is a young man who is still on a learning curve. Hey, been there, done that, right?
Let's see what kind of heart we can all muster to give him a second chance if he returns with a good attitude.

It took a LONG time for me to become a person I can somewhat respect. My emotions frequently called the shots instead of my values. Too passionate. Great outcome to this situation. The vast majority of us are good people... once we get past the emotions and the pecker contests![]()
