Dechaine

Mike, you have a fan in me. I've watched you at Derby 2012 and the last few Turnibg Stone events. I spoke with your dad for a 1/2 hour at one event, he couldn't be more proud.

After awhile you don't need to even resoond to your critics...I say that time is now.Your game can grow into anything you choose, don't let the haters rob you of anything. These type of people are jealous malcontents who never achieve anything and relish in the pain and failures of others.

As the great Indianna basketball head coach Bobby Knight said best,"When my time on earth has gone, and my activities here are past, I hope they bury me upside down so the critics can kiss my ass."

Mike is pretty well liked where I go
He is one of the best players around

but its not unusual for a great player to dog a few balls
and for a bunch of really pure idiots to label him as a bad player

this might have happened to mike, but it seems to me he is not afraid to play the best players head up.

I think he has a lot of heart
and I wish him well

Sorry Bro., but as you know we dated briefly in high school....she got the "better man," and I've had to accept that and move on. :groucho: I did end up with a great consolation prize. ;) she can do some amazing things on a pool table.

I loathe Dechaine!

No, on a serious note, sometimes I actually like him, sometimes I don't. It all begin when he starts doing his little smirks or hand throwing, or those evil laughs that he sometimes does as in saying "Look how lucky this guy is" if the opponent for example hit the point instead of scratching, or get a lucky roll, well thats pool, you choose to play it, I'm sure we all faced that, this game has like 50% luck if you count the break too, so if you love the game, you better live with them rolls either for you, or against you.

Thats all.

Don't know much re his att
itude but loathe is a pretty strong word. Jen might have chose her words a bit more carefully. Can't be in love with everybody.

Justin solicited questions for Shane and Mike from AzB members the morning of the podcast. But, as Justin later said:

"The bad news is the whole damn forum was offline last night during the podcast so I had no way to access the questions for the players. We had to wing it at the last minute and Jen took questions off a Facebook post."

So maybe that "loathe" question was a direct reading from Facebook. Even if was from Facebook, I suppose she could have stated it a bit differently.

Mike, your a doushbag,

This forum does have civility rules believe it or not. I got a warning for calling Lou chicken shit-even if was the truth.

And just like him, you care way too much about what someone else does.

The questions were not appropriate and would not have been posed to any other player. I would have told them to keep the check and unscrewed.

The hazing he took from Hatch in their match should have been better managed too. That was completely out of line.

He brings it on himself.

Was this "stated" before or after the match?

Writers occasionally confuse 'loath' and 'loathe'.

Maybe there was some confusion on the correct word, loath or loathe. ;)

Writers occasionally confuse 'loath' and 'loathe'. Their meanings are related as they both relate to not liking something.
Loathe

Loathe is a verb meaning 'to hate'. In fact, many consider it even stronger than 'to hate'. It can also be translated as 'to hate intensely'.

Examples:

She will eat just about anything, but she loathes celery.

I loved the Army as an institution and loathed every single thing it required me to do.
Loath

Loath is an adjective meaning 'unwilling'.

Examples:

She is loath to join, because her friends play for a rival team.

Magazines and newspapers are loath to discuss these types of deals
publicly.

At daybreak, when loathe to rise, have this thought in thy mind: I am rising for a man's work.
(should be 'loath')

I've met Mike a few times and he's always been cool to talk with. He's ok in my book.
