is this event streamed? i finally got a high-speed connection.
As I recall, that was in the European Championships three or four years ago. I believe the games were to 125.Not to take this great thread OT, but didn't Hohmann once post three consecutive 150-outs in match play (ignoring breaks & initial safety play or whatever)?

I am not sure, but wasnt that during the 14.1 Invitational held at Comet Billiards and recorded by Accu-Stats.
I will have to check my dvd's out to verify

Nope, European championships in 2006 or 2005 . 125 point games. Charlie Williams discusses it on the finals of the 2006 World Championships.
Do you know if the euro championships were recorded? I will have to check the supermarket shelves for it !!
Thanks
Steve

Dennis, Bill and Dana are working the 14.1 Challenge this year. I think Dennis is using the same score sheets as before, so stats will not be hard to do. In the past, only about 25 people have entered.... Bob, are you recording all the runs (scores)? If so, do you have an average attempt score? Like 100 people tried and averaged 35.6 balls a try?

High Run Darren Appleton-$1,000.00-173 Highest recorded run in any competition!

Dennis:
Not to take anything away from Darren (you already know my feelings towards Darren's 14.1 game in another thread), but I don't think the above statement is correct. (And not just for the "173 vs 183" typo error in the number itself.)
I think if we're going to include these "14.1 Challenges" in the "any competition" category, John Schmidt's run of 204 in last year's SBE 14.1 Challenge is actually the highest.
Or, am I missing something in the classification of "any competition"?
Thoughts?

I think the key word is "recorded" run in competition.
