Did anyone hear Jayson Commenting about doing deals with SVB?

extremely famous golfers caught making some BIG savers in the "SKINS GAME"

There were some extremely famous golfers caught making some BIG savers in the "SKINS GAME" a few years ago.....and the CERTAINLY didn't need the money.

When it became public they apologized and discontinued the behavior....or at least became more organized about it. ;)

That match and commentary was very entertaining for sure. Loved the part where Jason and JA were discussing stick breaking procedure.

I dont get where people think that these guys wont play their best...

Say they did agree to chop...Do you REALLY think they are going to play WORSE with the title still on the line and the pressure of the money gone????

If anything I think they would play better with less pressure to win, but with just as strong a desire to win.

Jaden

Yes. 1st = $1,500; 2nd = $1,000; 3rd = $700; 4th = $340.

Is this a joke? That many world champions and this was the calcutta money in NYC? Holy crap. They just had a bar table tourney that paid over 10k in 1st place alone during the same weekend.

Don't come in here making all kinds of sense Jaden.....

Man, I wish some of you posters knew something...about anything:eek: if Shaw and Shane DID want to split money, who in the hell gives ANY of you the right to even care, there's no money to be made or lost at the betting cages on what EVER they decide to do, and even if that outcome DID change what ever you might have side bet with your buddy(s)...that's your own damn fault for betting on the side in the first place....see, in that situation you're no better than anyone else that would make some extra side pocket money off the players...and not think twice about throwing your favorite player a bone because you just won some side bet action on him! When I was playing all the time, my rules were simple...if your going to bet on me...I want to know it first, second, I want a cut...if either rules don't happen, I might just start picking which games I lose...without YOU knowing first;)

Pure crap!

they play a race to 100 in straight pool to see who breaks first playing 9 Ball

That's why we always avoided New York and the east coast in general. The hotel's are 300/400 a night and they play a race to 100 in straight pool to see who breaks first playing 9 Ball for $500 (Race to 15} ..;)... I hear JJ did get some big action last year with some ethnic games/people...not sure the details, but they were betting pretty high, but I'm sure it was DOUBLE TOUGH.

yes i do, doesnt matter who wins any more. Most of these guys play because it is all they know and need to eat. Playing for the love of the game went out the window along time ago

Wow man, before I just thought you were just a bad case of NPD.
Now I see you don't actually have a sense of morals,
and will cheerfully steal from someone because you feel entitled to a slice of their private bet.

I know you pride yourself on not giving a shit what others think, like that's something to be proud of,
but openly admitting you'd dump in a pool forum?

I guess that's one way to deal with a heavy workload... who wants to trust this guy with their money?

You got anything to back that up? That's a big assumption, that they just see it as a paycheck.
That's busty in your avatar right... did he ever say something like that to you?

If they didn't like it, I'd think they'd quit and do something else... pool pays so bad that
you don't really stick with it for the money. Maybe you do that for a $400/hr. corporate
lawyer job that you hate, but not for like 25k a year.

Stay classy.

Talk about not knowing something...you are what's wrong with pool. What the hell are you on. You put furniture together for a living and your opinion about pro pool shows it. Johnnyt

Green for you, that was funny as heck

this is my opinion based on some of their actions. nothing more

Jason's got a big mouth. Trying to sound like a big shot and caused some drama

Jayson is 24 yrs old, and as Daz pointed out in chat, he's got some maturing to do. He had just lost a heated battle vs Earl and I suspect some of that heat flowed over to his commentary. I hope Jayson can and will watch the Earl match again and then the finals when he commentated. Lots of lessons for the young man to learn IMO in doing so.

BTW, I really enjoy watching his electric play and look forward to seeing him progress.
