lol i bought a cue for christmas with the intention of giving my gf my old one, but i liked my old cue's hit so much better i ended up giving my gf the new cue. go figure.

my gf snuck in and called Sherri Josey and bought some apparel from Josey Custom Cues without me knowing. decent gift.
 
Yes I did

I got a metal Jack Daniels sign which includes an eight-ball and a cue stick and a pool table in the background from my nephew, he's always sucking up to his uncle but I like it. :D

I also bought myself a couple of pool related items. A new Schmelke, bocote, blk leather wrap, 2 shafts(waiting on it). The other item I bought for myself was to get my 33 year old Schmelke re-finished(waiting on that too). It was a good Christmas! Hope everyone else had as good a holiday as I had. :D
 
In a round-a-bout way, I did get a Pool related gift from my In-laws ... A Check for $1000.00 (Wife got one also) that will come in handy for all sorts of Pool-related goodies ...
 
My wife gave me the shaft,lol. I have a Chad Carter cue that I've been wanting a new shaft for, so she said to get one with an ivory ferrule.
 
Got the go-ahead from The Missus to convert the garage into a pool-room!

The GCIV's been sitting in storage for the last 2 months - work starts next week.

I can't wait!!!!

A Guinness Cue Really?

I got a Jackoff Guinness Cue from my girlfriend along with a assortment of other gifts! It was actually a joke although my girl doesnt know that much about Cues she knows that Im a big Guinness Fan and thought that it would be a great Hustling Cue! Wow what a girl thinkin about THE HUSTLE on Christmas Day! As hard as it is in Southern Cal to get someone to get up a bet something I will try anything Thanks Babe! War Poolplayers with HEART AND GAMBLE!
 
The gospool by freddie,its a excellent book,i haven't put it down all day. hopefully i'll be buying myself a mezz pb 2 in the next couple of weeks as well.

No, no I didn't.
I got some shirts, shorts, jogging pants, a case of popcorn and two pair of shoes. The shoes don't fit and gave me a blister on my toe, after only 10 minutes. We're returning the shoes and ordering some from online.

While I didn't 'get' anything pool related for Christmas, I did FIND my 30 year old Rocky Tillis box cue with the micarta ferrule and the shaft autographed by Steve Mizerak. I had put it in a case and then misplaced it and have been unable to locate it. (It was behind my deep sea rod & reels).... I 'feel' like I got it for Christmas and that made Christmas all the more special to me...... imo

( of course the 21 lb. brown sugar/pineapple glazed whole ham that I roasted and the apple & chocolate pies helped make it a GREAT Christmas )


*Oh, and I received some Christmas Rep from JoeyA. and that was my most precious gift.(after my bottle of Ameretto Di Sarona) :)
