What Pat Fleming and Accu-Stats have given us:

A record of the worlds best players in full length events.
The greatest commentary ever (Incardona, Grady, Davenport, Hall, and Varner to name a few)
The single most valuable teaching resource available to new and old players.
Solid watchable events without all the "Gee Whiz" VFX and swoopy camera crap.
They defined the standard of what a great pool production should be.

You can have MTV and HBO. I'll take Pat Fleming and Accu-Stats any day.

Just out of curiosity, what exactly do you do for these productions ? Are you a post-production audio engineer ? A foli artist ? A camera man ? A gaffer ? A grip ? A director ? An extra ?

I think -- and I may be wrong -- that one of the Fusco "cousins" was on the player list for the "world" championship in New Jersey. Did they get in via a qualifier, I wonder, or were they invited because of their legendary status in the history of American pool?

I know of a few people that I seen playing in that tourny. I had to look three times to make sure if that was really him that was playin. I could not believe it. He played two balls under a short stop.

1. i agree that many matches would be lost if accu stats was not here.

2. Accu stats charges WAY to much for a match on DVD.

3. Accu stats charges WAY to much for a match on DVD.

4. I'm glad other people are getting into the filming of pool matches. I hope compatition provides better, more, and cheaper dvd's.

I just want to say to all my friends on here. This is the first time I ever got mad at anyone on AZ. A couple of other guys have said some pretty stupid things on here and woofed at me, but that never bothered me.

But when this guy went off on Pat Fleming and Accu-Stats, I just about lost it. Pat is one of the people I most respect in the Pool world for many reasons, only one of which is his video production company.

I have known Pat since he was primarily a top ranked Straight Pool player. I know him to be a man of high integrity and honor. And one dedicated to bettering the sport of pool for all to enjoy. For those of you who are new here, Pat devised the Accu-Stats rating system for pool players that is still the most accurate one ever created IMO. This was prior to his video business.

I could not stand by and give this "clown" any breathing room after his first insult ridden post. And as long as he choses to post on here, I will be on his ass until I hear a sincere and meaningful apology to Pat Fleming. "Buddy", you were way out of line!

Do you have the inside scoop on total sales and cost of production and marketing? I know a handful of people that made niche videos and CD's. None got rich at it and most lost money. Someone who's sales of a DVD numbers in the hundreds or low thousands on most DVD's has to make a lot more per copy than someone selling a few hundred thousand or more of the same DVD.

First of all, Accustats as a video production company is like a bunch of damn monkeys trying to launch a spaceship. They are a joke. Just horrible, have no idea what they are doing and should find new jobs. They make pool look bad to the whole world on national tv. They kill the sport....rob it of its beauty.

Second off..... Grady, if you wanted to go to the World Straight Pool Championships so damn bad.... you could have qualified for them. I respect you as a player and what you have done in pool but crying on the internet isnt going to help your situation. If you have something to prove, do it on the table not with your mouth.
