Dollar for dollar, which production cue is hard to beat??

"Dollar for dollar, which production cue is hard to beat??"

Hmmmm..........would the answer to that be the production cue that's in the hands of the player that is a better player than me is the one that's hard to beat ?????? :grin-square:

Mezz

Comparing quality of construction in terms of tollerances, repeatability & cleanliness of build, Mezz is the absolute best. They also offer a variety of shafts and joint options to fit a variety of players so the majority of players are covered. Schon has one formula & you get what you get, not that it's bad because it's not, but it's only one so it's not going to fit as many players. And being in the industry myself, in my opinion you can't really compare any other production cue with Mezz & Schon. They, IMO, are in the elite class of production cues, above the rest. Both hold their merit badges of excellence but I lean toward Mezz because of the options available to fit the cue to your preference. Hope this helps.

Cant get a better deal than a Joss in my opinion. They start real cheap and play great.

This seems similar to the last production poll. To me, whatever is the best playing is best dollar for dollar. Its not like any production is going to make you broke. So look at the last poll, and whatever you decided was best, buy it.

Yeah, I'm beginning to wonder just how bored and/or indecisive you are. You continually posts all these polls and subjective questions on here, and they're all the same question when it boils down to it. Are you just asking out of curiosity, or are you actually searching for things you'd like to buy for yourself?

Everyone has different tastes, opinions, and favorites. You're never going to get a definitive answer out of all of this, because there is no right or wrong answer. It's all opinion-based.

Please, just buy something. Anything.

It's not a production cue but the Samsara Bar Cue is a lot of bang for the buck, Crown Cues are great and the low end ones are better than a production cue and I think the same $$$. Another cue is Cash Cues they are built like $2000 customs the tolerances are that tight and they are just a hair over a the price of a good production cue.

My point is these days you can get a better cue for the same $$$ as a production cue, that wasn't the case a few years ago. I only mentioned two makers, I could list a lot more. If I had to buy a production cue I like Joss East-just personal preference on the hit, balance point and overall construction standards.

We interrupt this thread for just a moment.....

Are you sure Earl is'nt your father......geeeeeesh! J/K LOL

Ah Jimmy, you made me laugh bud! Remember them days? I got real snippy w/ you because you "besmirched" the great Earl and......Well, I was wrong and I'm glad we ended up pals! Oh Canada!! :D

Now, in all seriousness, Earl can't be my daddy because he was born in 1961. I was already 2 years old. Ah yes, I remember that day (when Earl was born) clearly....I was laying on my right side in my playpen watching Bugs Bunny cartoons when my momma came running in with the July 1961 issue of The National Billiard News. On page 3, first column on the left, there was a story proclaiming that a baby boy was born on June 8, 1961 at the Greensboro, N.C. General Hospital weighing in at 7lbs 8oz. He was named ________ Earl Strickland and he was going to become the GREATEST 9 ball tournament player of all time! (The blank before the name Earl is because Earl is really his middle name. He goes by Earl because he prefers it over his first name that was bestowed up him at birth. *Not many know this, but any card-carrying Earl Strickland Fan Club member in good standing knows these tid-bits by heart)

And Jimmy, no need for the J/K LOL codes....Since I've been put on meds, I'm much less aggressive than I was back in the day! :boring2: And anyway, you're my friend and I know you're just joshing around! I like good natured ribbing!

Lastly, for now, I send you and Mrs leggs sincere and fond greetings from the land of sunburn and heat stroke to the land of hockey pucks and mooses rumaging thru younse's back yards!:D

nothing on earth beat them for the money, nothing, and on top of that you could return them within 30 days even after playing with em

I agree that there might not have "best/absolute right answer" for this thread. But I DO think that it ISN'T a "boring / waste my time question".

Why??

You might not like this thread or you might have your own opinion, but I DO see here that more than twenty, thirty even more members gave their "best answers" to this thread.

I post the thread for ALL members, not just for a couple of people.

PS. I think the BEST way to deal with those people YOU think are "bored and/or indecisive" is to -- I.G.N.O.R.E them.

Adams Cue

I'm not sure if Adam Cue's were production or not, they may not even be made anymore, but at one time Adams Cue's were plenty cheap and hard to beat.

I like the Joss Cue sneaky's, a fair price and hit's um good.

MEZZ! Great Shafts (Many different to choose from), Beautiful designs (caters to many tastes) and quality second to none. My main player is a Mezz and i love it.

SPORTSCRAFT hands down!!! If anyone ever tries to jump you and you have a sportscraft cue, you know you have a weapon on hand. I dont think mezz, schon, or any of these brands can fend off criminals!!!

J/K Mezz!!!
