Jack dont send nothing it is a scam,the same exact story that u say is the same my friend was told,they hacked into his computer and stoled his info,then these scamers called my friend with the same story as they told you,these people(scamers)are very good at what they do,but not good enough!

This same thing happened to my AOL eMail account last year. Whenever I sent an eMail the receiver would automatically go on my 'contact' list. That's what was hacked into. To stop it I had to delete the contact list and changed my settings to not let receivers go on a contact list.
Jack...it's absolutely a scam!! I think this scam first surfaced about 4 years ago now. They intentionally play on your heart-strings, as they figure that some people would do just about anything to help out a friend in need.
If you are still unsure, you can contact the American Embassy in London to see if Don is in fact abroad at the moment.

HUGE SCAM, Don Sherman, the real one has had my Yahoo email account scammed. [ my fault ] trying to quit smoking habit, my mind not working properly, i fell into a trap. getting a email from Yahoo [ looks as real as being from Yahoo ] saying: because of to much congestion, that all yahoo customers needed to update, because if no response, would be removed if account wasn't updated. this FOOL responded, they stole all contacts, emails, etc. etc. currently have no contacts, no email, or even spam. changed password, but trying to get through to Yahoo to renew, contacts etc, is a big runaround. can't find a way of contacting Yahoo to do this, but working on that. i'm stuck in Michigan as usual. thanks for concerns, but i'm OK, i think!!!! don

Jack, if the guy is really in trouble, all he got to do is visit the nearest US Embassy, and they can help him with paying those bills, if any... he will then owe the US Embassy the money.....Don't fall for it.....just be carefull....
That would be illegal and get a hotel sued and that manager fired pretty quick.

chances are one of you has a virus on your computer that has generated all of your email addresses, and is sending it ot everyone on the mailing list.
