Earl calling out Joe Rogan

Well, I do understand the power of Earl, I've played many times against him for 20 yrs.
Max is a really smart player, and coaching means a lot in a match for the weaker player.

You have to take in to perspective that Earl is going to go off just a little with Max coaching.
The safety game will come in to play a lot more, as will playing shots the right way.

Trust me I don't believe I'm 100 percent right, I just thought Joe would have a much greater
chance with a good coach.

I've coached a lot weaker players than Joe into winning games that looked as if we didn't have a chance.

Just a thought, that's all.

and as Jay said MUST include the breaks. Im for the breaks and the 5, 7,8,9,10. No spot ball counts on break.
 
I know to make the game more fair,everyone feels they need to take the break away from Earl. But as a fan Id sure like to see Earl break a few racks. How bout loser breaks?
 
if i can say sumthin.. if there's going to be a lot of non pool fanatics watching this.. make it 8 ball so people know what's going on and are familiar with the concept.

Do it in Vegas during the BCAPL national (International) championships, May 14th to the 22nd, that way a ton of pool players will be there to fill the stands and I can buy both Earl and Joe a beer for the entertainment.

Pool is the game of the devil, the game itself should be outlawed.

At least according to afew hollier then thou zealots who wish their will and beliefs were paramount and trumped all others.

Luckily we live in a society with freedom of speech, freedom of expression, and where the majoritty of people hold the right for people to be entertained in a variety of fashions as a valueable freedom. And if that entertainment does not specifically target themselves personally and instead offends them they have the very simple solution of simply tuning out and not taking part, simple.

But to hold the opinion that you yourself don't like a certain form of entertainment, thus that entertainment should be censured from ALL of the public who actually enjoys it? Wrong country Neil...

Cant wait to see this thing happen. Itll be entertaining and for a good cause. Pool needs more things like this.
 
I dont think Joe has backpedaled at all. I believe him when he says he is and has been a fan. In fact the video is one of the things that makes me think he is a fan.

Geez, it was a comedian having a good time and doing one heck of an impression. He wouldnt have been able to pull off Earls manerisms (sp) so well if he wasnt a fan IMHO.

Have you ever seen a celebrity roast? Those people must HATE each other ;)
 
I really think most that view the video of Rogan 'channeling' Earl thought it was funny. I don't think it was mean spirited. Earl is a unique guy and some of his 'quirks' may add to why people watch him and like him. No doubt Rogan is a fan of pool and a fan of Earl, and that's great.

WOW what a streeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetch!! Now maybe you should look up comedian.
 
I watched George Breedlove play with Gabe as a coach and it made it very boring to watch. Do NOT have Joe play with a coach for the sake of the new viewers who don't yet know how slow livestream no shotclock viewing can be.

In fact let's put a 15-20 second shot clock on this for the sake of the new pool fans this could recruit.

I couldn't disagree more with ur assessment of the situation..Joe said he would..asked for Jay to make the handicap...Easy to see he's not doing it for the money..Even compared it basketball & for a basketball fan to have a chance to play a pick up game with Michael Jordan...It's obvious he is a very busy man with alot of ores in the fire..And the timing is the only issue...personally i think it's great that he would take the time to do it in the 1st place...Joe has my props for sure.
 
Also Earl is nit allowed to concede games. Let the fans see the few shots that Joe gets to shoot.

Btw. I watched the video of Joe practicing at home and was VERY impressed.
