he gained more on the psychological front then the scoreboard. You would have had to watch the games to know what i'm talking about.

Anyway, till tomorrow..

I don't think it's entirely impossible for Shane to take 40 before Earl wins 30 but its a huge stretch. Good luck to both guys, but Im just hoping it's not lopsided one way or another.

This is by far one of the most interesting match!

I can't wait to see how it will end tomorrow. Both players are playing great. Not much drama and I even saw Earl clap for Shane when he got out on a tough 10 ball.

S.G.

I predict a repeat of the first Color of Money match. Earl goes into the last day with a big lead and loses in the end when Shane catches him.

Earl played some great pool. He didn't dog too many shots. Shane on the other hand dogged too many shots. Towards the end when Shane started to look like the Shane we know it was clear to me that if he brings that game to the table then the momentum will go his way and Earl won't be able to fade it.

What I find awesome though is the commentary on how the table size is a huge factor. All the people who said it wouldn't matter are eating crow right now after seeing Shane humbled by this table and seeing Earl run out on it easily. Looks like crazy Earl isn't so stupid after all.

Regarding Earl's antics, all I have to say about that is that Shane and his crew knew what they were in for. It's the old adage of what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. If you go to the Philippines and gamble then you have a crowd of people around the table and in your way, making bets being loud etc... Shane has got to find a way to blow it off and treat Earl like a crazy puppy whose yapping is annoying but something you just put up with until it's over.

I'd like to see Earl win it by playing great and without the antics. Because with the antics a win will always have an asterisk in front of it in the fan's minds. However on an entertainment scale I have got to say that it's freaking hilarious to see a guy in all that gear running out on a monster table like it's nothing. Just when you think Earl is as far out there as it's possible to be and still play he brings it to another level.

Where's BillyChips at? Didn't he take the world's action giving up 3:1? I bet all the Shane fanboys are sweating the bet a little now. Makes life fun doesn't it? (BTW I am a Shane Fanboy but I am an Earl fanboy from way back so I couldn't bet against either of them and my nads did shrivel up too much to take any of BillyChip's action)

Great stream, great camera work, commentary was great, all around a really good experience. Tomorrow should be fun.

shane nutted up when he needed to. going down 18+ racks could've been the death of him. to bring it back to 6 showed earl he wasn't toast just yet and that stretch may have saved his ass. takes big ones to go for the out on some of those racks he did when down like he was. It's been classic so far and entertaining as hell:thumbup: Hope the final day keeps up the pace.

My prediction - Shane wins in the end! 100-95

I'll bet you a Starbucks coffee, Jay. Of course, it might be a little expensive for you to collect if you win, unless you can get a cheap flight from the West Coast to the East Coast. :grin-square:

Oh, wait a minute. I am not on the infamous Good Action list.

I guess we'll have to just make a friendly bet for bragging rights. I'll go out on a limb and take Earl, since he's got the lead. :p

Wish I had bought TAR

Wish I had bought TAR, having to work in the am I passed.

The only way Shane wins from here is if Earl gives him the chance. It should be fun either way. Earl will keep it together, the lead helps.

If I lose I have to come there and pay you. If you lose you have to come here to pay me. Ha Ha

That may be true,, but it will be the age that becomes the factor,, I think if anything was proved here it was earls top speed gives shane the 6

This is romantic nostalgia. Earl has always played great but his top speed could never give Shane's top speed the six.

When Earl won his US Opens and the World titles the depth of field was lower. Most of today's world beaters were in their teens.

It's a lot different when you have to face players who are near the caliber of Buddy Hall and Sigel and Varner in the early rounds of tournaments at every major event. People who aren't starstruck and dog it just because of who they are playing. On the contrary they want to add a victory over you in a major way.

Shane is dogging it a little bit right now. If he does find a higher gear then Earl can forget it. Earl is playing good but he has also been given a lot of games he normally wouldn't get.

Is it because of the table? Because of Earl's moves? Who knows. But it's not because Earl is just that much better of a player than Shane. IMO.

Earl still has a lot of WORK ahead of him if he wants to win.

This truly is about as entertaining and dramatic as we could have hoped for. Shane definitely made the statement that he's not waiving any white flags yet, though, mid way through last night's action, his body language looked like he could go either way. Some of the shots he missed were just plain dogged, nothing to do with playing on a 5 x 10. Shane will need to avoid any more of these types of errors if he hopes to take it down.

Earl was looking about as good as anyone could with baggage handler earmuffs, falconry gear, javelin sized cues, and Earlock Holmes designer magnification.   The man is a shotmaking, perfect-position-getting, machine.

Thus far it's been great action featuring superb camera work & technical production from the Runout Media guys, and highly entertaining, often hilarious commentary, from the TAR booth.

What else could anyone want?

Thanks guys!

Best,
Brian kc

There has never been the day that shane is the shot maker earl is I dont care who is in the field,, when shane runs 11 racks in a row weather it be combo or full run of balls let us know earls game right now can compeat with anyones and he is 50 nobody would have built a lead on earl in his prime as he had on shane,,

If you say so. Maybe you can explain then how Earl got so thoroughly OWNED by Shane in their first matchup? They played on the same sized table that Earl won his world titles on, on the same cloth, under the same rules. So was it just a bad three days? Shane got really lucky? Earl played horrible?

If you think Earl can compete with anyone then send him to Manilla. I guarantee you that once Earl has beaten all the gangster/poker stakehorses out of the few million dollars they can put up then a little known boxer named Pac Man can raise a few more million. You and Earl can retire off what you can win there in a week of playing.

I will contribute to the kitty and gladly buy the PPV if any of those robberies are streamed. I will lay ten to one that Earl can get played for ANY amount of money in the Philippines.
