Earl v. Shane Day 2

Alex vs. Shane

I tend to agree. I think Corteza, Orcullo, or Pagulayan would be a great match-up. Especially Pagulayan.

IMHO Orcullo is the only player that has a real chance vs. Shane at 10-ball.. Paguylayan has run many 10-ball racks in ring-games...but in a race to 100...I don't think that he has much of a chance against Shane.

Is This A GREEN Gremlin

Earl going off that Shane "and his little gremlins" are laughing at me. Shane hasn't said a word or made a face the whole night.

Maybe Earl was reading the posts on AZB and everyone picking Shane and offering all kinds of odds and games on the wire to Earl's fans. :)
Maybe Earl thinks the 'smilies' :) are gremlins :)

You are a piece of work !

That's it, feed is over. Shane said he was looking forward to going home wiht his family. Jcin asked him what he thoguht the score would be tomorrrow, and Shane said he is trying to win by 30.

You don't think Yang has a chance? I think Yang beat Orcullo 60-42 in their 9-ball showdown.

JCIN saying no one is lauging at you. Earl says he has eyeballs and can see the gremlins laughing. This is nuts.
That was Chad. I am the small one. Earl scares me.:D

Next TAR All Round

I'll respond to your post and PM here. I disagree completely with your point (better stated in your PM) that updating the community who did not buy the feed is wrong. Your reasoning that people like me and others giving updates to the forums is preventing people from buying the feed because they get the updates for free is absurd.

I feel the complete opposite. The more exposure these feeds get, the more subscribers they will eventually have. this includes pre match predictions, live match updates to the forums, and post match threads about the outcome, etc. If we don't talk about these games, and instead try to keep it 'hush hush', then they will come and go, and no one will even know about them. We have to keep talking about them to make them exciting and so people will buy the feeds the next go around, and help it grow.

You are absolutely right. If I didn't have freakin %&*)_(_(*^&^(^*^^ dial-up I'd buy every one of these matches. Anybody who's a fan enough to hang around for three hours just to get a score update is fan enough to get the match if it's feasible. I'm also much more inclined to purchase the dvd's for having not been able to see the matches live too, but if I felt that people were like, "Screw you on the updates, buy the feed" then I'd be much less inclined to buy either the feed or the dvd.

The only one I can think of who might accept the challenge is Earl ... just for the camera time. Of course he would say just before jumping, "I can't win ... Scotty's a better bridge jumper."

Call me crazy, but I don't think Earl's done yet. I think the final tally may be closer than most think.
