Besides, Earl also beat Shane on a 10 footer in the Tunica tournament last summer.
Shane is the better player at this stage, but Earl can still hang with him- he has proven it in the recent past.
He can't hang with him in a "regular" game. He needs the 10' edge. That's what earl likes to shoot on, and as I understand it's what he practices. Like I said I like to watch Earl, but he's definitely a second tier pro at best. It's impressive, but he's not on the same plain as SVB anymore.
