Thanks for the inside info anyway,the need for which would of course not have arisen in the first place had Efren,instead of rabbiting on about not having yet been paid etc etc..... had simply told the interviewer "I've received an IPT cheque for my winnings a few days ago,I'm waiting for it to clear"......

could it be that some things just got lost in the translation?

doesn't efren always say that he just got lucky instead of saying the other guy sucked and he never had a chance to begin with?

maybe he said that to end the conversation or perhaps to get his relatives off his back for a change....

at any rate, I'd rather believe bandido and linds than speculate...they have firsthand knowledge on this, after all.

Did not! If you will read JAM's post completely, Keith sold his $5000 check to be paid in the future to Billy Incardone for $4500 before he left Reno.

This is a prime example of why so many people argue and disagree with each other online. Over 700 views to JAM's post and many people understood that Billy paid Keith, while many people understood it that KT (the I.P.T.) paid Keith.... imo

I was wondering the same thing. If Efren and Busamante have been actually paid and the check cleared (crucial point) then one can only wonder if there were some funds available for prize payments, why not send everyone a pro-rated (no pun) partial payment of their earned prize? A partial payment would be better than nothing.

Checks have been received by Efren and Django... this was confirmed to me by Django last night. I spoke with him briefly in the pool room where we were at.

Cleared? No, I wouldn't think so. At least 30 banking days is needed to clear an International Managers Check.

Until the checks are cashed for real money the doubters will persist. If the checks are cashed - then the doubters will say why only Efren and Busta? I only wanted to be a bearer of good news about the checks being recieved. What it means is that there's light at the end of the tunnel. Efren and Busta may have been issued theirs with the IPT thinking that it will take 30-45 days, as some here have said, before it gets debited from their account. This sort of buys them a little more time but none-the-less shows that they're in good faith when it comes to paying-out prize money. So they're having a little difficulty, everybody does. Unfortunately, some with much more than the others. Am just trying to bring hope no matter how miniscule that may be.

According to him, they are ALL still waiting for their Reno payouts. Could it be that the checks they are talking about pertain to Vegas and not Reno? Please verify this if you can.

I for one am definitely a "doubter" as far as these cheques allegedly received by Reyes and Bustamente are concerned because there are far too many glaring illogicalities involved.However I am certainly not a "naysayer" in general as I would genuinely believe that IPT have the intention of paying out if they possibly can.Also under no circumstances would I be a "critizer" of what bandido has tried to do by keeping other IPT players informed and trying to increase their hopes and expectations,which is creditable on his part and indeed he should be thanked and praised for that,not criticized by anyone.

As regards the above quoted section......you can actually go further than that.....if Bandido is correct in his information there's no need to wait until the cheques are cashed for anyone to say "Why only Reyes and Busta?",the other IPT players would surely be ALREADY RIGHT NOW 100% justified in asking the question as regards why Reyes and Bustamente have receivd Reno winnings cheques on 28 Sept although up to 6 Oct nobody else has....who's going to be the first player to break ranks and ask IPT that specifically and I wonder what IPT's answer will be? There would seem to be only 2 basic possibilities:-

1. A confirmation that they have issued cheques to only those two players and no-one else accompanied by some fog-shrouded excuse.

2. A confirmation that they haven't issued cheques to anyone.....kinda like the letter they issued several days after Reyes and Busta allegedly got their cheques

I do understand and do symphatize for the others and that's why the info but they do have to run with the ball. As for the Puyat's coming to Efren's defense, why and what for? He's not an aggrieved party. If you're referring to media releases here, well, it's a tool for big business and politics JMO.

Actually, after hearing about the payout, I was happy. To me it just signals that everything is straightened out and the sport will just carry on with its progress.

Also JMO about why Efren first. If the NBA in the 90s or the PGA last year decided to sell the tour, will they alienate MJ or TW? Wouldn't they be a major bargaining chip? Kind of sickening but I have a feeling that it's a business move to benefit the many. A Hail Mary pass.
