Now that's a beautiful Martinez and real hard to come by. I've always liked even his basic six pointers and this is far from basic. Enjoy it! Ernie makes sweet hitting cues.

Very nice cue. I can't wait to hit a ball with it. Congrats. I wonder what Uncle Ted suffered with.

I finally succommed to a constant barrage of pressure to send Will this cue.
It was brutal, and I'm still a little shaken up.

Nice cue Will, how does it play...:)

That is a frickin' awesome cue. The point work is stellar. The inlays are very original. I love the buttcap and the pin. Very, very unique.

Congratulations,
Chris

Will,

I hate both you & Ted! ;)

Beautiful Ernie, glad you got it from the clutches of the evil Ted & his fantastic cue collection. At least it will see the light of day (once in a while).

Great pictures, too. Enjoy your temporary player.

Dave

Ted was playing with a production cue today. Yes it's true I was there. I know this is a shock to the cue collector society.
I even got to hit some balls with this cue and it hit very nice. I don't want to out him but the cues name started with Mc.:shocked2:

It was a McD D-19, not just any production cue.
I had to check out how it played with pooldawg8's Dawgdud tips.
The OP on this thread remembers how it played with the original dried out tips.
This Ernie still has the original tips as well, but Will has probably changed them to a Kamui Black SS already.
Kamui Black is a nice tip for a glue-on.
I hope you like the new glue-on tip we installed on your McFadden tonight....:)

Nothing but Players from- Mr Ernie

I have followed Mr. martinez -for like 15 -20 yrs. I have a personal cue of Ernies(4pt wrapless hustler). An 2 new ones.an Ebony fronted and a BEM,with the nickel silver rings. Who's running the Pantograph for Ernie these days ???? His tapers ,shaftwood are quality!!!! I went to Colorado to see stroud and Kikel-(Everone in Colorado mentioned Ernie and Only Ernie kept regular hours , I ws in olathe once and sold 2 EM- shafts - I recieved an ivory Cue in Trade, and Jump Cue(worth-1000.) All just because I let a friend use an extended lenght Martinez shaft!!! mark

Don't worry Ted, the original tips will remain in tact, I am having two original Predators matched up as we speak.

Thank you all for the kind words, if you are in Vegas in May you will be able to see it in person and really appreciate the Silver work. I talked to Ernie the other night and the cue was made in 98' or 99'.
