I understand sometimes you have to sell your cue because of financial problems but c'mon, most of the time the same people are looking for another cue.I'm a serious player and what I know is this,if your cue hits a ton,or is a monster player you would never sell it.It can take years to find a cue that hits a ton and when you do you won't sell it to make a couple dollers. Some people might just be in it for just the wheeling and dealing of cues but most are selling because they made a impulse buy and regret it.When I see hits a ton,I think yep a ton of crap.To describe the hit is one thing but I always think if it's that great why are all these cues for sale? What do you guys think? Thanks;)

Never seen it but totally agree with it

Your right,I was looking at so many cues with these phrases and my brain snapped so I had to write something.

I have to agree with your analogy. It all looks good on paper, but the proof is in your hand. Unfortunately, the dynamics of this forum mandate 'betting on the come'. L

Hmmmm.....

This is an interesting point of view and I agree somewhat. I can certainly understand not wanting to sell a cue if it was the best hitting cue you've ever owned but a cue can still "Hit a ton" and not be exactly what you're looking for. By that I mean it may not be the exact look that you like or maybe it has a wrap and you would prefer wrapless or there may be numerous other reasons why it gets offered for sale.
I know in my case, I get bored very quickly with things so I find that I buy and sell stuff quite regularly just to get my fix for something new.

So I wouldn't say that when a cue is offered for sale and the owner states that it hits well that it's necessarily BS. Maybe it does hit well but aesthetically it may not work for the current owner.

Ton hitting monster players are generally sold by
the nut hugging circle jerk thread bumping
members of the forum.

Would you want any part of that ?

why risk it?

If I found a cue that finally had the hit I've been wanting,I wouldn't risk selling it because I didn't like the wrap or color.God knows when I'll ever find a cue that had the same hit.I guess some people need to buy the bling, others prefer to do it on the table.;)

Very well said Eve.

I got Blue Diamond chalk for sale. It can make any cue hit a ton.
