Members; do any of the members use the perscription eye drops, Restasis on a daily basis.

I've been using the drops for about 2 yrs. with success as to very dry eyes.
Would like to hear some views on this item.

I dont use prescription drops, but i wear contacts and they get dry as hell in a smokey pool hall, so my renu eyedrops are a godsend if im playing all night.

Send deal for me except I use "refresh tears" and that works great. My eye doctor told me about it.

I use both Restasis and Systane Balance. They accomplish different things. As I understand it, Restasis helps the body produce more tears by functioning as a mild irritant. The Systane Balance is a lubricant and contains lipids to keep the tear film from evaporating. As you know the tear film is comprised of three layers, a protein layer, an aqueous layer and the fatty acid layer. Ask you eye doctor if your dry eye is caused by multiple issues in your tear film. They may suggest a combination therapy as my doctor did.

I have had dry eyes my whole life. Theratears drops are the best.

Better than ANY drops are: Theratears fish oil/omega 3 PILLS are the ticket. Recommended by my eye doctor/surgeon - I take 3 a day. These are great for your heart. Theratears work better than regular fish oil tabs.

I can use eye drops all day long in the pool hall, but they only last about 1/2 hours. Theratears works much better and they keep on chugging!

TRUST ME!

Do you know what makes the Theratears fish oil better than others?

Interesting...

I also wear contacts and use Refresh for contacts. In a smoky poolroom, I have to keep applying them about every 20 minutes or so. I am also very interested in what others do in similar situations as I just started wearing contacts a couple months ago. Maybe there is a better contact for this type of environment? Better drops?
I will be subscribing to this one!!

Sorry, I don't. This is what is recommended by my eye surgeon. I asked them the same question.

Additionally, I used to buy those huge bottles of fish oil tablets from Sams, and when I switched to Theratears I could immediately feel the difference.

I will have to give it a try then. I currently buy my snake oil from some folks out of New Zealand and it is supposed to be the best available but it hasn't helped my eyes much. Maybe there is something in Theratears. We shall see...see better I hope! ;)

Thanks for the information and thanks to the OP for the thread!

The Theratears capsule also contains flaxseed oil. Bought me a bottle of it yesterday.

The Theratears eyedrops seemed like nothing special compared to the Optifresh stuff my doctor recommended. Not worse...just unchanged.

I have been using these for a couple of years. I buy a 3 pack at Costco. 2 large & 1 small.

Recommended.

There was a thread here that discussed various products.
Sorry I did not bookmark the thread.

yup, that's what I use. Works way better than products like visine. in fact, visine is bad for your contacts.

Good rep to you sir! Tried the Theratears and work better for me than anything I have tried so far! Also ordered a couple bottles of the gel caps also.
