As for calling my cue a fake again.... I will give you a pass as I am feeling sort of cleansed after the moment I shared with kam earlier.....don't be mistaken that I can't keep another two year dance with you, no matter what name change you are going by. (more than likely avoiding another overseas mess).

And Ken, don't be confused ..... Kam is a nice guy, but him having to spend 50% on a set of Bill Schick "snake tapers" is bullshit.

anyone that KNOWS kenny well doesnt think that he would screw anyone over on purpose.

i have many many deals with kenny. known him for years. (and yes that includes szambotis)

all deals were flawless...

whatever personal issues you may have shouldnt be brought here. everyone INCLUDING kam told you that you were worng. kam is satisfied

IMO you look real bad here. if theres anyone on the dont buy from list in this thread it isnt kenny.

knowing kenny and knowing his close relationship with barry it is hard to believe he would sell a warp szamboti knowingly. im sure it would have been in his best interest to have it fixed
 
hey libby, if i remember correctly there was one very important person (among others) who would not verify the cue, not kenny. you need very badly to stop and think about what happened. kenny is one of the top respected dealers and members here. if anything why do we need to listen to someone who tries to pass off a fake? this issue needs to be put aside and left alone, it happened, move on. put your anger into the person that sold the fake to you, not the person who protected the rest of us.
and if you think you are going to turn anyone against kenny, think again. all you are doing is turning people against you. time to leave this alone.

Libby got burned on a GS by someone other than Little Kenny, but is blaming Little Kenny for his $7K mistake??

And on top of that, Libby is pissed that Kam got burned? by Little Kenny on a cue deal that had warped shafts, that Little Keeny made good on with Kam??

If I'm following this right, is this topic has veered so far away from Dale Carnegie Training course principles I use in everday business its not even funny.

There is a time when both sides should learn --less said = more. The level of conversation has now dropped below the floor and is not doing either side any favors.

Libby tried to sell a cue as a Gus Szam on eBay. Libby posted the eBay auction after showing the cue to Barry and having Barry tell him his father did not make it. Libby did not disclose this, some would say, pertinent, fact in his eBay auction.

Little Ken protected the historically collectible pool of cues by outting the eBay auction as a fake here on AZ:

Hey I understand a guy feeling bad about getting burned on a cue deal, but why take it out on Ken? Libby seems to be saying that if Ken didn't out him he might have gotten away with it. Isn't that what this community is all about, protecting the investment pool, sharing information and protecting buyers from seller that think a sale is getting away with something?

Yeah I had forgotten about that "Barry said it wasn't real" part when I wrote the post. I had thought that Libbey was just holding the cue and being in denial, I had forgotten that he had actually tried and been denied!

Getting burned is tough, its what one does from there that's the test, and I say you are flunking that test if you turn around and list a cue that Barry says is not a Gus as a Gus.

I disagree that we should let this thread die and the simple principle that Ken has some really nice cues that he is trying to sell and I hope that he does. It is not his fault that there is a 2 year old that has to try and start a flame war when he was wrong from the get go back when he was trying to sell a "real" Szam.

Kenny, now that the dust has settled a bit, I can finally chime in and say thank you for another great Barry Szamboti cue. All our deals have been top notch and you have been very easy to work with. You are an asset to the billiard community and have become a good friend.
