Fatboy Punks Bucktooth

From what I have heard the heads side of a coin is "just slightly" heaver than the Tails side...so the % breaks down more like 49% Heads and 51% Tails........Thus the "Tails Never Fails" statement....;) :)

Coin flip is one of my specialties and I can get heads 70-75%
I can get tails 70-75%
I can get anything I want 70%-75%

Ok, I don't know either one of these guys. Who the hell is bucktooth? From what I have read bucktooth likes to run his mouth, correct? So fatboy shows up with more money than this bucktooth? and asks to flip a coin for it? So I have a few questions. I understand this fatboy has a lot of money. What if this fatboy didn't have a lot of money. Would he of been, how should i say it, big enough to step up then? And what if bucktooth would of said flip it.... Would fatboy have went through with it? I dunno, To me if this fatboy has so much money that he can flip a coin for $40k and wouldn't bother him if he lost I'm finding it hard to understand what the big deal is here? For example... If I have $1000 and a guy is running his mouth about gambling for $10, I call him on it, and he backs out. I really don't see that as something to feel big over. All in all I'm just asking what the big deal is here? Now if someone were running their mouth about gambling for an amount of money that would affect someone if they lost and they still stepped up, Willing to go through with it and not just bluffing, Then you done something to talk about I guess. Like I said. I'm not understanding what the big deal is here so I'm just asking.

Josh,

Bucktooth is the legendary high roller (and was also a fine pool player) and pool hustler - if you ever read the book "Playing Off The Rail", Bucktooth is heavily featured. He's a legend and classic pool hustler. He bets it up, woofs and so forth, and plays when he has the nuts. He looks for big scores. He like to high roll people and woof, then he begs for weight. He's an older guy now, but my understanding is he can still play decent speed.

Fatboy was just posting here and Bucktooth started woofing it up with him relentlessly and obnoxiously trying to make a score. Fatboy is not a money pool player and he doesn't pretend to be.

Just look up Cornfed's posts here and you will see for yourself his irritating, arrogant, self-promoting dribble.

The point is not if Fatboy is a gambler, or a big gambler, or a pool player.

The point is Fatboy beat Bucktooth at his own game and that's why we're lovin' it.

Tap, tap, tap Chris! Fatboy is in a VERY small, exclusive group...those that actually got over on Bucktooth!...probably can count them on one hand, in the past 30+ years!

Ok I got ya.. Now can someone please tell fatboy he should play me some pool. :D I could sure use a few thousand out of his few million. He wouldn't even miss it. heh. :D

Right. The issue isn't the percentage of Fatboy's cash he brought...the issue is he offered an endless woofer a perfectly fair gamble. Bucktooth turned down this dead even gamble and burned up the carpet with his backpedaling out of the room.

I still like both these characters...although I now recognize that one of them MUST have the nuts to throw down.

Fatboy,

Hats off to you for shutting up him the heck up, he had been setting there rambling on for what seemed like 2 months, that was one of the funniest things I had ever seen.

So if you are ever going through Knoxville, TN, stop in Breakers Sports Bar and Grill and drinks are on me. Thanks, Wes

Igotta back Jay on this one. What Fatboy did is a classic and I have a new hero. Bucktooth has been running his mouth for years and years and has darn near ruined many events with his BS act. He had this one coming for a long time.

When I heard about this in the pool room this afternoon. I near pd my pants laughing and then I got worried. The DCC is great don't get me wrong, but waving around $100 grand, well, not just anyone can get away with that. I'm so glad he wasn't ahrmed ro anything.

Sure, there are some capable HIgh rolling Fatboym but what is the point. There is always somebody richer, or bigger, or faster. That's life! But, what Fatboy done takes nuggets the size of Grapefruits.

But don't lose sight of the great thing, He shit that bag of wind up.

Fatboy, you are my new HERO. I want to be just like you, but, I"M A LITTLE SHORT!

You are well on your way!! You punctuation and grammar has a close resemblance to Fatboy's!!!!!!!

:D

Russ.......

I'm so mad I missed seeing that. I do hope it gets shown somewhere soon.

Fair play to Fatboy, he bided his time & shut the Tooth up in style! Well done, sir!:D

p.s. I wouldn't have taken the bet either. I can't win a coin flip to save my life at the moment!!

I left the Derby on Wednesday so I missed your action with the Tooth. Hard for me to believe anyone ever made Archie look like a "bubble gummer". Don't think anyone bet as high and for as long as Archie did in Vegas. He won between $30 and $40 million in one stretch of several years and rolled the dice for $2 million on one roll at the Horseshoe! Anyway whether you are well off or not you showed the courage to get up and play in the ring game.

I remember when Archie was on his run, the news in Los Angeles even broke programing one time to show him live playing craps at Binion's. He had every either $5K or $10K chip the Horshoe had, cant remember which it was, in his possesion.

Props to Fatboy....

Anyone who's saying he was just out-bankrolling BT then you really need to stop day dreaming. The man said he'd flip a coin with anyone in the room, for whatever they wanted to flip for, he didn't say "you have to bet X amount". I'm actually amazed that no one stepped up - that's disappointing.
If you say that isn't gamble then you don't have gamble, and you should really just keep your mouth closed on this subject.

Fatboy, I'm still waiting on that visit. I was going to buy you dinner when you came down here but now that it's been so long, and I hear these stories about 100k getting pulled out for a coin-flip, I think I'm going to have to ask that you pay your half..... and the tip....

Archie told me he had all the $5000 chips in their safe and then asked him to cash them in.

Chris, I agree with 95% of what you have to say, but I think the argument regarding how much money he has is everyone saying how much "heart" Fatboy has.

I respect what Fatboy did, especially as you pointed out Cornfed has been following Fatboy around woofing relentlessly in his posts. However, when you are only betting a pennies of your net worth, I just don't consider that heart. Of course I have been spoiled as I'm from the same neck of the woods as Little John, and that kid has balls the size of boulders.

And pancake alluded to "the size of ones heart is directly proportinal to the size of ones brains", I think that is actually inversely proportional in that the bigger ones heart, the smaller their brains. It's crazy to risk your house payment, or car payment, or your last $1000 in the world on a game of pool. Or even $1000 that you don't even friggin' have. I don't what it says about our society that so many (including myself) seem to respect and love that so much.

I see heart as being willing to risk things that are going to hurt, not something that you won't miss.

Again, I think that Fatboy was awesome and I wish that I could have watched it. Just don't confuse beating a big mouth out at his own game with heart.

Well since it has been proven that Bucktooth HAS NO BALLS!!!!!!!! I think whenever he is refered to in the future, he should be called Doetooth, it is much more fitting!!!!!:D
