Fedor Departs CueTec...?

Different players are different with equipment. Some can change easier than others. Some have been hurt with an equipment swap. But if there’s a shaft he likes I bet he could adjust in short order. Maybe not.
Having spent hours talking to him about the equipment I bet he is one of the most preoccupied people there when it comes to shafts and tips  I could only hope he matured since then and changed that approach a bit. Because if not, it will take quite a while until he adjusts to full extent.

Btw in darts which is very similar to pool in many ways, players occasionally change sponsorship and their darts as a result. Almost every time such a player dives in decline, and some of them even have to make another change after a season of struggling.

Let's face it. Fedor's stock couldn't be running any higher. In his last four Matchroom majors, he came 5th at the Spanish Open, 5th at the European Open, 2nd at the US Open 9-ball and 5th at the Hanoi Open. He also won Matchroom ranking events at the Derby City 9-ball, Turning Stone and the Peri Open. Finally, he is on top of the AZB 2023 money list, in a heated battle with Josh Filler for that distinction.

I'm sure he's getting a great cue deal from somebody, and he'll have earned every dollar of it. Similarly, congratulations to his new sponsor, who will have hooked up with a proven winner, thereby further ensuring that their brand will frequently find the limelight.
Isn’t Jason Shaw sponsorship from Peri? I was curios why he didn’t compete in the Peri Open or did I just miss it.

When I was playing cricket, I would have a load of bats made up by whoever I liked, and just slap the right sticker on the front. Job done. Surely this happens with Pool/Snooker cues too? I can think of a few players in the snooker world who have the 'right badge' on a cue that could be made by anybody in actuality.

I think pool players didn't go that far yet, lol.

I read on some of the chats on yt that Jayson departed from Peri team and is looking for a new sponsor.

Because Indians didn’t use shitty arrows. You idiots act like they picked up a branch sharpened a stone and that was it. It’s a dumb saying that makes no sense.
All those bad ass Indians, starving to death, because the arrow doesn’t matter 🤣

(American) Indians starved to death because they were forcibly moved onto reservations, and away from their ancestral hunting/farming grounds. Just "FYI".
I go to the local "Indian casino" often. Opposite of starving to death is my experience. :D

I am sure that is a great comfort to the 1900s American Indians who actually starved to death. (Note the use of past-tense form of the verb "to starve".) Anything actually relevant to add?

It is a metaphor and like most all such things, it is sometimes true and sometimes not.

Fedor would play worse if he grabbed sticks off the wall to play.

I play the same with my $2000 hoppe and my $300 sneaker peter.

Both can be true at the same time.

None of this is relevant. I thought this was a joke since it's a thread about Fedor's cue choice. No need to get sensitive.

As well as Fedor handles himself and with some of the connections he has made, he should request an introductory meeting with some big dogs outside of pool. Shoot for the stars, get Rogan on the line and see if he can set up a meeting with Nike. Or possibly someone in the golf world.

Someone has to be first. The game is on the verge of exploding globally. The big boys should at least be curious.

Fedor got some exposure being on the Rogan podcast but what would Nike have to gain by sponsoring Fedor? Nothing really. The whole reason a company sponsors a player, is to get exposure/advertising in hopes of selling product. That's it. What specific sales would Nike get from sponsoring Fedor? Probably nothing. I would think energy drinks would have a better chance since that is something pool players would buy.
