FS: Brand New Barry Szamboti Cue

why all the complaining
i am a good friend of Barry's and I sell em all
he knows it and no one is surprised I wish I had one to keep, but then again I wish I had one to sell
if a fella pretends to want to keep it for life and then sells it,the chances are good that it will be his last one

all this talk about him getting it quick is just talk
i guranntee Barry does the right thing
He is one of the most honest people I have known, half the reason people like his cues is because they like Barry

how many people would like a Barry Szamboti Cues t shirt, hat or apparel,i heard his wife was thinking about doing some.
If about 100 or more of you replied, she might take heart and we would all have something nice

I would like to have a hat,t shirt and sweat shirt, put me first in line

Put me second in line, for a hat and shirt. I will never be fortunate enough to own one of his cues unless I hit the lottery, so at least I can get the shirt. Thanks Mr. Campbell.

Me 2

I want a shirt too but I'm not so sure I can afford one..... How long is the wait for a shirt??

Ditto.... and even moreso to those that hang on to them.

Main reason I will never own one is I would have a real hard time with someone getting the cue one day and making $6-7k the next day.

JimmyK--------->>>>>>>would love to have to have a Szamboti t-shirt.

I would like the Hat and XL Shirt please! John is keeping the CUE, I just got home from CBC East he now has a nice Engles Brown Elephant case for it! Thanks Tommy for making this possible. Ron

It don't get any better than Barry, Dennis Searing and Pete Tascarella as a PERSON or CUE! Ron

Really? ok. If you say so. What would that reason be? To say look at me, I got a Szamboti in 16 weeks? (16 weeks is just a random number for this excersise)

JV (----just curious to what you think the reasons are....
As a cue dealer you must know what the right reasons are. Some of us are obsessed with the beauty of cues and enjoy having them in our possession. This is what I meant by the right reasons. If it's true that money can buy a bump in the line, then the bumpee is not a flipper but someone who appreciates the work and simply wants to own the cue.

I want a Szam Shirt in large if they wear big:thumbup: if not X large in RED would be fine.
Thanks,
Ralf
hope one Day to own a SZAMBOTI Cue:rolleyes:

Count me in for whatever she decides. I have a Gus cue with Barry shafts.

If the production is limited, how much do you think I'll get for a shirt when I flip it on AZ?

I am a little confused? Are you saying it's ok to "buy" your way in front of people who have probably been waiting a long time for their cue, but you have a problem with someone selling something that is ultimately their property? It would seem to me that no matter how much money is involved, "cutting in line," so to speak is dirty pool, no matter what the obsession, or the reasons might be. JMO, please clarify. FWIW, and again IMO, ditching others is absolutely no better than flipping, regardless of the circumstances...

I don't think buying someones way to a bump is right , but I did say that the right reasons for wanting to own a cuemakers work is admiration and respect of the maker, not to buy and flip.

Agreed, and thank you for the response TommyT.

Put me down for shirt, hat, underwear (boxer briefs please :D), tip tapper, whatever comes out with the official Szamboti trademark.

Scott <<== missed the "Got Gus" t-shirts from a few years ago

Thanks Ron!!!! It was great to meet you my friend. And once again I greatly appreciate you giving up one of your fine Engles cases for my new Szamboti cue. Thanks again buddy.

BTW, Hayden and I just got home to my house in Texas a couple hours ago. I already played with the Barry for a few racks. Man it hits great!!!!!!

I wouldn't expect anything less from a Szamboti...

The problem is almost everyone becomes a flipper. Whether its 1 week, or 3 months, or 1 year or whatever. The right reasons are lost immediately when the next "must" have item is found.

But to the guys who have waited 5 years, 10 years, or even 15 years, to see someone that can't run two balls have a brand new cue because of his "right reason$" is slightly irritating.

If life was fair, and would be no fun! How do you know the old owner can't run "two balls"?
