Gardenhouse project with a nice Brunswick

Dubois

Alex
I've build a gardenhouse in the back of my garden only for the purpose of a pooltable.
Started to build the gardenhouse in march and playing pool in april.

The garden house is an original design from Finland, walls are 70 mm thick (2,7"), double roof with insulation and the windows are also thermopane.
Inside dimensions of the garden house: 16,6' x 18,5'

The pooltable is a 9 foot Brunswick Goldcrown III with ball return, Simonis 860 cloth and of course i'm playing with a set of Aramith balls.
Now, the only thing i need to do is start to practice....

Also I've made the table light myself, total cost approx. 100 euro including 6 T5 lights.

I vote awesome too. I can always appreciate great craftsmanship.
In the first picture, the pad looks not much bigger than for a large utility shed so it is deceiving.
The yard looks full when everything is in full bloom.
The red wood stain is very nice.
Wood, material must be cheap in Belgium. Here, you couldn't even think about doing just the pad for that much.

You have some strange characters in the Last Supper print.
Marylyn
Bogey
Laurel and Hardy
Maybe The Duke

That looks nicer than a lot of people's regular houses. When I move to my new place I am going to set up a special room for my pool table and decorate it accordingly.

Nice job, this one looks great!!!

Gardens and pool.....I am all about that!

Nice job on the landscaping and your man shed:cool:.

Welcome to the forum and thanks for the pictures.

That is a terrific setup. Nice job!

I was in Belgium, once. Antwerp. Beautiful place. And great chocolates! ;)

Enjoy your new pool room and welcome to the forum.

KC you ain't seen nothing yet!!! This is going to be a big year for my garden and I hope to start a thread soon of all my garden/pool pics.

I have many on my pictures folder that is actually labeled Vegetapool.

So how do you heat it?

I assume you don't need air conditioning in Belgium.

Make no mistake, also in Belgium it can be very hot in the summer. That's why I also have the roof insulated.

Because of the relative small windows and the big canopy over the windows in the front and the front door, I can manage to keep the sun out most of the day.

When it really gets to warm I can use my mobile air conditioner to cool it down but for the moment it's not yet necessairy.

Winters in Belgium also can get very cold so I have a gasheater for those months.

Very nice! I have been thinking of purchasing a larger house, but real estate the way it is, I would have major problems selling mine. So thinking of making an addition - this inspired me! Luckily I have the room to add like a 20x25 so I can have some space for other amenities!

That setup is sweet. Do you get a lot of noise from the street with all of those windows?

Nope, no noise at all. The street behind my garden runs dead so there is no traffic.

I want to thank everybody for the nice compliments. That's why I love this forum. We are all her for the same reason; for the love of the game;)
