Ginky's Shark case is missing.

Very nice case!!! One of the benefits of such a small pool world is that the f@#ker that took this case will not be able to unload it without notice. As soon as it surfaces someone is going to spot it. I have heard numerous cue and case recovery stories. Please post again when this case is found.

Ginky's case

Was wondering if this case was ever found. Kind of hard to bring it out in public with Ginky's name on it.

Ginky was a good friend of mine

I don't know what the resolution with this case was/is but I expected this to happen with some of his cues and personal affects as so many people wanted something to remember him by.

As far as a Murnak case goes, he does magnificent work. I own the most expensive Murnak ever made (which can be found on his custom page) and would be devastated if anything ever happened to it or the matching cue inside.

For those looking for a quality case, consider giving Jim your business.

RIP Ginky!

Its a brilliant case and I would love to own it but tbh..... I don't think anybody should own it. It was Ginky's case custom made for him. If anything his family should have it to pass down the generation!! I know I will never sell my cue even if the money was huge. I respect that fact that a beautiful custom cue that was given to me as a gift should never be sold. It meant a lot to me when I got mine and I will pass it on to my boys and their boys. Well... At least I hope they do. Funny but once I was where the Stanley Cup was and somebody tried to pass it to me and I declined... You are not allowed (if your still an active player) to touch Lord Stanley's Cup unless you win it or you will be cursed never to do so yourself!! I know that most people think I am nuts about the whole thing (Since I will never actually win it!!) but to some we honor certain traditions. I personally thought being right next to it was just as awesome. Now... There is one stipulation to this. If one of my boys or grandsons wins a Stanley Cup then you goddamn right I will be drinking Champagne out of it!!

Back to the point of the case and cues being handed down....

It really is sad that we don't have a HOF where things could be displayed along with tables, Movie bits and all that. I know it wouldn't be a BIG place to visit but it would be a mecca for most of us pool nuts. Then again somebody somewhere would find ever little flaw about it and blow it up to "Look how terrible and embarrassing this is!!"

There is a space in it for some reason (where the & is). The site is selling the case for 1500.

It's used as an example. I don't believe the case was over found and I'd doubt it would be for sale.

Is somebody gonna ask if it can be inspected in person prior to purchase and where it is be??

I just called Jim Murnak and spoke with him about Ginky's case shown for sale on his site.
He said Absolutely NOT, that all of the cases shown had already been sold and were just on
his site to give an idea of what he could do in each of his case sizes.

He said he thought the case remains missing, whereabouts unknown.

It is good to resurrect this thread for visibility purposes.

Your network admin either employs chimpanzees or he has a stick up his butt.

Hahah...no bet!

They just dumped the whole IT department and outsourced it. It was not a good choice.

Oh, and about 6mo prior, out CIO left and they hired a consultant to be CIO. Wonder if the 2 events are somehow related? :slap:
