i would give it until monday and then resend the tips or refund whichever the buyer would prefer.

LET'S NOT BEAT AROUND THE BUSH.....
HE BOUGHT THE TIPS FROM ME.
I CLEARLY STATE THAT FIRST CLASS MAIL DOES NOT HAVE INSURANCE, BUT IF THE BUYER WANTS INSURANCE, I OFFER PRIORITY MAIL FOR AN ADDITIONAL COST. http://forums.azbilliards.com/showpost.php?p=1663232&postcount=1
I ALREADY TOLD YOU VIA PM THAT I'D WORK SOMETHING OUT, BUT I WASN'T GOING TO EAT THE TIPS. I DON'T FEEL I SHOULD, CONSIDERING I OFFER A SHIPPING METHOD WITH INSURANCE.
I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU STARTED A THREAD, INSTEAD OF RESOLVING THIS PRIVATELY
i recently purchased four tips from a fellow AZB member. The Tips were shipped standard ground and it has been over two weeks and the tips have not arrived.
if you were the seller what would you do?
this always bugs me...
Fast - if the company you bought the tips from said they sent you tips and they never arrived and they said "oh well, they're lost in the mail not problem" you'd be pissed right?
insurance is for the sender, not the reciever. That's why the sender has to file the insurance claim with usps, because the item does not belong to the receiver until it's recieved. Sellers protect themselves with delivery confirmation.
to your credit, you did say you would work something out with the buyer, but he never recieved the goods he bought from you through no fault of his own. People get crucufied on this board for that very thing. I would want all my money back (minus shipping) or the tips resent.
to me the bottom line is, he paid and now it's soley your responibility to make sure he gets what he paid for.
Jim
you sir, are charged with providing insufficient information in the first degree.
The seller has posted that you were offered an insurance option, which you declined. How do you plead?
tuff titty said the kitty... No milk for you.![]()

so he chose not to pay for insurance, and i should cover the loss?
If that's the case, every person i have sold tips to could say....."my tips never arrived" you need to send me replacements.
I offer shipping with insurance, he didn't want to pay for it. I also offered to work something out...... The only other time this happened, 4 tips were lost. I covered the loss of 2, and felt like i was already going above and beyond.
Please tell me why, his decision should take money out of my pocket?
even if i send something not insured, i will always add delivery confirmation. It's $0.65.
hi marcus,
yes i feel you should cover the loss, just like you take the winnings when everything goes well.
I agree you're making it fairly easy for people to basically steal from you, but 99% of the people will not do that.
The insurance is for your peace of mind, not that of the buyer since he allready has the insurance
that he will get what he paid since he bought it from a reputable seller.
Gr. Dave
i agree with this 100%. If i was in this position. I would resend the tips and just agree to never do business with this person again ever!!!!
Bval
Hey Marcus.i had considered that, but i might as well make the buyer pay the 5.00 for priority than. Between first class postage, and delivery confirmation, it's already 1.50 or so, with no insurance.
After this, i'm going to change the way i sell and mail the tips. I'm not taking heat again over 20 dollars.
