Thank you for sharing. I'm cracking up that Minnesota Fats labeled himself in that softball photo.

You mean Robert Byrne? Oops... others already said that. I didn't even see a sig between Byrne and Cuelmans until you mentioined it. Hell.. that's not a signature... that's a "mark".

Here's a close up. It actually is above AND below Cuelmans sig. I don't know if the end is a Y. That might help ID it. If it is, that narrows it down to only three people.

Cicero Murphy was inducted in 95.
Ed Kelly was inducted in 03.
Mike Massey was inducted in 05.

I have sigs of Kelly and Massey and they do not look anything like this sig. Maybe the autographs weren't gotten all at once.

Any idea what year the paper is from? What exactly does it say around the 8-ball on the right side of the paper?

I'm not sure of the year. Actually Ray Cuelmans is the last to be inducted on there and that was 2001. I know for sure it's not Mike Massey.

I know all of the sig's were gotten at once. Jimmy Moore would be cool. I know the AZ'ers won't let me down!!

I have an Ed Kelly autograph and I can say without a doubt that it is NOT Ed Kelly. It's not even close. When my girlfriend brings my camera back, I'll post a pic of it.

The fact that Balukas and Cuelman are both on it, makes me think that the sigs probably weren't gained all at the same time. As you said, Cuelmans was only inducted about 8 years ago. I don't think Balukas has been to a BCA trade show for a very long time. I could be wrong though.

Thanks for sharing these awesome autographs.

Ya know, I have Jimmy Moore!! A friend of mine whose parents lived in the same area went to visit them and they were out to dinner in a restaurant when Jimmy came in. He got the autograph for me! Trouble is, we moved in December and I'm not sure where it is. If I can find it, I'll check it out and if looks similar I'll post a scan.

If they were all signed at the same time, it can't be Jimmy Moore. Jimmy Moore died several years before Cuelmans was inducted.

It might not make sense, but it may be Peter DeBacker. Maybe he traveled w/Cuelmans to the dinner. Here's what I believe to be either Peter's signature over Cuelmans' name I got during one of Sang Lee tourneys in 1996, that looks to be the same as yours. Or, Cuelmans signs his name like this all the time-maybe in his native language.

I included a close up of the 1 or 2 signatures like yours and the whole page. Peter is the only one missing of the world players that were there. So it is either Cuelmans signature and I'm missing Peter's or its Peter's for sure.

Hope this helps.

Dave

By the way, great stuff you have there. I would like to see more if you have the time.

Well, that looks exactly like it! Maybe it is Ray Cuelmans with his native signature and he wrote his name underneath so everyone would know it was him??

I think you are right. Sang Lee signed in english and korean, so it makes sense.

That's Bob Byrne, the famous author. Oops, wrong again.
