Great Job in the booth JoeyA!!!

For sure!!!, I just sent him a PM saying the samething! its tough to commentate and he is great! i hope he does this more often, i like hearing alot of different people/players commentate.
 
Great job by Joey. I wondered why JR kept calling him Joe even after he was told it was Joey on the birth certificate. But I have to say that Grady dominated in the booth.... or was it the bedroom?

Shoot! I missed Billy! I did catch a little of Grady and yesterday I too enjoyed JoeyA's work. Nice job Joey!! It was well done.

Joey A is the man,I was hoping him and Jay Helfert Aka Gingerbread Man were going to match up on the live stream,that is the only thing that we were lacking in the great event,awesome pool and production for sure! :thumbup:

It just goes to prove that all the time spent hanging around with me and learning proper English paid off.

(DVD sales should SOAR if JoeyA. buys a copy of every match he commentated and gives them away to his friends for Christmas.... imo) :)
 
I was very impressed with the tournament and the coverage, and JR and JoeyA .. you guys did a phenominal job, and I hope to see more of these tournaments and commentators like yourselves.

Great Job Joey!!! Really enjoyed you,Grady, Melissa & Billy. Junior was alright, I just didn't care for the name change. Thought is was disrespectful. You were a true professional about it though!

After the onepocket finals concluded I mentioned the great job Joey and Mike did,they were both great. By the way Joey you have a very good understanding of the game of onepocket and would like to do some commentary with you. For those of you that watched the finals you saw onepocket the way it was meant to be played. Nick is one of the smartest onepocket players to ever play the game and Gabe made him look like he wasn't there,but Nick really played well.I also thought that the entire week went well with the streaming and if possible I would love to see more live streaming,and if it continues our game has a very good chance of really catching on. Great job JR,Grady,Joey, Mike, and everyone else that contributed.

Yes, my thread was weaker than yours. Yes, yours did a better job of spelling out JoeyA's nice work than my initial thread did. But I typed mine fast. I was in a hurry between games to get back to the live stream.
I was on JoeyA's bandwagon while you were still watching the NFL!
JoeyA is the poster whose good rep finally gave me the much balleyhooed and highly coveted "11th greenie box"! So, neener, neener neener to you!:eek:

I'll add my additional comments to your post, since you just stomped a mudhole in my JoeyA post.....

In all seriousness, JoeyA did a very professional job. He not only knew his stuff (predicting a 3 rail kick from Shannon to get out of a tough safe, which he did) but he also seemed very relaxed and poised in the booth, like it was second nature to him. You get that from a professional who's been there, done that before, ala Billy, Grady, Danny, etc. But JoeyA did his job well, without trying at all to be an attention hog. His input was mannerly, insightful and he has loads of knowledge. I'm very glad that the peeps here at AZB are showing him some well deserved love.

Also, I want to mention how fun it was watching that with guys like Ktown, Blackjack, BigTruck, BigDogatLarge, Big Nasty, SJD, "Spotasaurus" :) , Lenny, Derek Disco and so many other AZBers who only added to the good memory that was yesterday. Watching Jay "at work" in the chair was worth the price of that live stream! The funny comments were, to steal a line from DerekDisco..."creative".

Lastly, seeing Shannon grind it out so hard against Charlie Bryant was awesome. What fight in him, what determination, and what a talent!
Hillbilly did great all week, but Shannon made some great pressure packed shots to nail another win. I'm so happy for him and Marge.
