Grudge Match - Columbus, Ohio August 20,21

rom the looks of the activity on Face Book there's a long line.

I'll play the loser a set...

From the conversation on Face Book there's a long line....starting with Dee Atkins.....there's some funny quotes, I'm not sure what's really going on.

We know they are playing for 75% of the PPV, but it would also be helpful if we knew just how much the two players are putting up. If it's just a few hundred $$ each, then that don't take much heart on Gene's part. Hell, I would even play Bart even for a few hundred and a piece of the PPV if someone wanted to see it. In fact I did play Bart even on a BB in Clearwater, FL w/o any PPV money. Yes I lost but I caught on that I couldn't beat him pretty quick...About $300 I lost Quickly :(. Johnnyt

Gene has plenty of heart.

What do u know about Gene and his heart?
Mad money is not a bad thing.

I agree. For an amateur to step up against a pro on stream takes heart. Yes I know Gene has intimated that he has plenty of game for Chris and he might just have enough.

But the fact is that in my opinion it's good for the instructor to step up once in a while and show they can play some.

I would like to see more of these types of AZB grudge matches happening. Doesn't have to be for enough to bust someone down to ashtray change but enough to make the heart beat a little faster and enough people watching to put on a little heat.

One thing about Gene is that he IS on the road and this is his only income. Whatever else you might think he is helping people to play better pool across the country.

Hey Dave, who would you like if Cigar Tom and Gene played even 9 ball?

They are around the same age, Tom mite have about 10 years on Gene?

For what its worth, Vanover or Gene would have about the same chance of beating Bart even, ZERO!

Now 15 years ago, well that would be a different story!

Atlease for Vanover that is!
