Go to Bob's website http://www.sfbilliards.com/ and view the articles that he has written. It will help your game.

Maybe, maybe not. For the particular purposes of the topic of this thread, readers should be warned that those articles include detailed geometrical analysis of several aiming systems. I don't attempt to cover the psychological utility of the systems, other than what I mentioned above.

Hey Joey,

Is Bob paying you for these endorsements? :D

J/K, Koop

My endorsements are earned by the respect and generosity that one has shown to others, not from payment from someone's wallet. N/k. :)

...why are you so militant when people bring [Hal] up?

Militant? Lighten up, man - it's not a religion, remember? I make a few jokes about the cryptic mysticism people (like you) ascribe to Hal's systems ("it's the galactic nuts, but I can't talk about it") - which, by the way, is the reason for all the skepticism and controversy about them. You're not doing him any favors.

In Bert's $100 video when he's demonstrating that aiming technique, did you notice he missed a large percentage of the shots? Probably more than half. It was an odd demonstration...

In the same video, he does something else that was very odd. During one of his demos (a few minutes long) he makes a comment about Johnny Archer. Rather than edit it out, or just re-filming that segment, he leaves it in. Then, he films himself clarifying/apologizing his statements about Archer. Considering his apology was filmed standing in front of the same table as the demo, he clearly could have just re-filmed the demo instead. Does anyone waste more time on film than Bert? (rhetorical question)

Yeah. I thought that it was kind of strange that he didn't just edit it out also.

The other problem that I had was my DVD skipping or freezing in a lot of spots so a lot was not very clear. I bought it of off one of the posters here so I don't know if it was just that DVD or if it was in all of them. It didn't look like a copy but it may have been.

Syndrome:

I talk about it all the time in great detail, just not online. I heard from a few that Hal knows your number and avoids you like the plague. If he tells me not to post about it, and I don't -- I'm doing him a lot of favors, just no favors for PJ.

The reason why there's mysticism is that everyone who learns from him, respects his wishes of non-posting to prevent know-it-alls like you from improving your game. Apparently the PJ embargo is working, since someone at Chris's Billiards told me you can't play a lick. No wonder you're militant... I'd be militant too :) trust me. Playing for 50 years and playing like a D player must be brutal. It's OK, we all know it's a tough game.

I don't know what D player means but I have played with pj and know he can run out a rack of most any game, so, I think "can't play a lick" is not accurate at all.

I've played PJ for cash and he plays just fine. And, Hal may be a very nice old man, but his "system(s)" makes no sense. That's why no one posts them here -- it has nothing to do with an imagined embargo.

By the way: are you really 31? Couldn't tell from your myspace...

Make no sense? I picked it up in like 2 minutes. Is that how old you were when you stole Mosconi's cue ball?

Picked what up? Exactly :-) I await with bait on my breath.

And I think I was a freshman in college when the Mosconi thing happened.

At 31, what's your excuse for that myspace?

Lou Figueroa
this is too easy

Bait on your breath? Man, I could slam-dunk that one and bring down the glass, but I won't. It's only easy because I respect you. Otherwise, it'd be an uphill post battle for you and I don't feel like getting banned over Syndrome. I never said anything to you - not sure why you're attacking me. Looks like you got your panties in bunch over me calling out your friend who frequently belittles people on here. I'm just tired of the PJ CHGO cocky talk. Next time I respond to your buddy, I'll make sure I have a retort ready for the PJ defense team.

Well, I think Lou was putting up a small homage (pronounced oh-mahj, and is French for lobster) for our own Smorgass Bored who really likes lobster on the all-you-can-eat seafood buffets he haunts. Or maybe not.

I cannot parse your syntax.

I think that is it.

BTW, I need at least the 7 from all those who know an aiming system. I never learned any aiming system. I basically point my tip at the CB and lunge through. I get inconsistent results.. I'm not sure why... :D

(P.S. All ex-ACUI champions must give up the 6-OUT, imo...)
